NorthDakotaHockey I won't be selling my seats no matter how bad it gets,it was a mad outburst and I will not lie down and take it easy when a team that I cheer for and have been to almost every home game since 83-84 and lots of away games goes out and plays like they have for most of the year,barely splitting with Denver,swept by Wisconson,will be swept by the Gophers,splitting with AA and Harvard and barely sweeping Bemidji.I was at Bemidji and they barely held on to win there.

I have never seen a game where the Sioux were so outclassed,outworked and very out coached.We have had Hakstol for a year and a half and when can you say he outcoached anyone.Last year if it wasn't for the senior class finally waking up it would have been a dismal year also. There doesn't seem to be any fire or desire from this team at all and i think it starts at the top with Hakstols blank stares from the bench wtf. When have you seen a Sioux team get outshot by almost every team,home and away.A very dismal home record no forecheck pressure, no breakout from there own zone and nobody can pass or catch a pass,maybe they need to go back to the basics! I think Hakstols reign should be short and lets get back to Sioux hockey. when sitting through the last of Ginos year its like deju vu all over again.when Blais was here it was the "teams" goal to hold every team under 20 shots per game not per period and if you were a forward and your assignment got an uncontested shot off from the point you sat the next shift,you caught on or you sat period.the lack of fire and discipline is very disturbing and it points to the coaching staff,at least we lead the league in one area,checking from behind and considering what happened to Bina that doesn't make much sense. Looks like we can all sell our regional tickets to a CC fan or worse the Gopher fans.Hopefully this year goes by fast and we have a change at the top(the whole crew) and we can get back to Fighting Sioux hockey not the high school product we have now

There is only so much room especially when you have such a large Freshman class and you can't get everyone.I'am sure there are lots of teams who would like to be in our sitiation with the players we have.

Anyone have an idea how many recruits the Sioux are still looking at for 06 or 07.On USCHO and GPL they were talking about a defenseman from Brainerd(Sneep) maybe his name,he has visited BC,the Gophers and Wisconson this weekend. Seems like we are full for 06 but may need a few for 07.

I will probably be flamed for this thread but here goes.Why after ever home loss do we hear the team needs to play with desperation and not just the last ten minutes of each game(when there behind of course).This team has no emotion or fire at all,why? Is it coaching or lack of drive from the players,if it's either one that would point at coaching(no this is not a fire hakstol thread) Why does this team always seems to come out flat with no fire or urgency at all?Maybe they need a different approach to the players and maybe some threats of not playing or less ice time, something need to change and fast or we won't have to worry about the regionals or even home ice for the WCHA playoffs.I have been a fan since 93-94 and have only missed a handful of home games since and have seen many games on the road I have been through three Head Coaches and seen lots of players come and go and this team just baffles me,no offensive pressure,no forecheck and struggles breaking out of there own zone.Watching last nights game Harvard made two or three short passes and they were down the ice and we eat it along the boards and turn the puck over.Maybe we need a different coach for the Offensive and powerless play to shake things up.With all the talent on this team something isn't clicking and if not for a late run last year what would these message boards look like?I know Hakstol,Berry and Eades don't suit up any more but if they could get there players to get up for games like they did it would be a very fun team to watch,sorry for being long winded I'am glad I waited until this morning when I calmed down a little before doing this. I'am out of here

Why do you have to end your post with something like that,do you want people over here to dislike you or what.You seem to want a reasonable conversation and then you do that,that could be called flaming couldn't it ( I wasn't refering to Yttrium but Slap Shot)

I say agree to disagree and move on.Nobody is going to change there view because someone on a message board doesn't agree with either person and nobody would trade players from either team. Each one of those players have good and bad points We could go back and forth forever so why bother. As for Slap Shot and the Triouxper use the ignore button for each other and stop wasting our time it was bad enough when it was Vanak vs. Parise and it gets old fast.I bet if you talked to TJ he would have nothing but good things to say about Kessel or anyone of his teammates and same for Phil.Lets talk hockey vs my Dad can beat up your Dad
