Kind of Ironic that they are losing two defensive players and end up winning two in a row. They took the throphy and ho hum skated off of the ice.

That is well said, you can only hope he is getting treatment for his problem and with the proper care he should be fine. Maybe a change of scenery will be good for him I could see him playing professionally because he is a good player.

SLU is doing a lot of lipping off tonight. What is up with that? The guy that scored the SLU goal went by the Sioux box running his mouth too. The last 5 periods of hockey UND has played some of the best defense I have seen all season long. This is the kind of stuff that UND needs to do to win. I realize we are playing some teams that are what we might call weak but its something to build on after watching what we say in the first half of the season.

For anyone that cares On the FCSN on Digital III on midconet tonight there will be the GLI on channel 316 at 6:30pm, Dever Cup Cake Tourney on channel317 at 8:00pm. The Gopher Classic is on also. Good night of hockey. MTU lost to Harvard this afternoon. The 6-2 of Wisconsin was with Elliot in the nets. Where was that about a month ago when we played the Badgers. They must miss their players at the WJC.

Hirsh picked Minnesota over UND and for that I am thankful. It is a shame though that his career had to end this way. Someone will pick him up and he will probably at least play in the ECHL.

No one ever better tease us about scheduling cup cakes again after looking at the above schedule. I am hoping that UND does a tourney again next season. I loved the Subway Holiday Classic when we had it, it was a great time to party with friends from BSU and two games in one day was a blast. Wisconsin lost to Clarkson 6-2 last night.

No crap, now we have Gopher fans policing a Sioux message board. If it wasn't for rumors and pontifications void of fact what would we talk about? I guess to each his own. I think Hirsh is a good player and he has some issues but I think this is more about tDon trying to repair his image in the eyes of the univeristy and his peers. Last season there was the impression that Lucia's team was out of control with the Channel 9 report and then the implosion at the end of the season. I am pretty sure last year was a emabarassment to him and he has been making examples out of people to get his message across and to repair his image.

I know if UND does come to play the Sioux are going to get stroked, I am hoping this isn't the year we finally lose to the Beavers. I am not sure I can stand to listen to my friends that are BSU fans. Yep I am a BSU fan except when they play the Sioux.

Finally the Sioux are out of the bottom ten for penatly killing, they have now reached 80%, that has to go up to 85% at least. They have to win this game tonight. Losing to an ECAC team would just about burry their NCAA chances. BSU beat C.C. last night so it shows they are human, I am still not convinced that C.C. is that good of a team. I think BSU is like 5-0 against the WCHA. Swept MSU-M, Swept UMD and won the first game against C.C. Big games for the Sioux coming up the next 6 weeks. I figure they have to go 9-3 or 8-4 to move up in the race. 10-2 would be better.

SLU has tied it up 2-2 so maybe we shouldn't count the chickens before they are hatched. Please tell me Bob Norton is doing tonight's game between DC and UND?
