Outsiders are wrong. Football and basketball are king in north Dakota...whether that be at the high school level or college is irrelevant.
Since when? If you are saying Football or Basketball at NDSU is king...how many years have they been selling out their stadium? You might be mistaken with the fair weather/band wagon jumpers....

Anyone know the highest paid UND player in the NFL past or present? Kleinsasser? Kuper?
I believe Kuper did. Last year his salary was $4.5 million/yr while the Sauce was set around $3 million/yr. Not 100% sure though...

If the Summit is so bad, why are they consistently rated ahead of the BSC in recent years in men's basketball?
If UND was offered a package deal of Summit and MVFC membership, they would jump at the chance. NDSU on the other hand, would rather stay in the Summit/MVFC than take a BSC offer.
Portland St, Sac St, Southern Utah, Northern Ariz, etc. They don't get UND fans blood boiling any more than Oral Roberts, IPFW, etc would, and NDSU, SDSU, and USD would be more attractive both rivalry wise and geographically than U of Mont or MSU, which are supposedly UND's new rivals. .
If the slummit is so good then why is their average attendance lower than the leaders of the big sky?

Any prior coaching experience?
Not that I know of but FBS playing experience at that position and also being good enough at that position to sign a contract with the Texans shows he knows what it takes. If not coaching maybe he has interest in recruiting.

NDSU football has more bandwagon jumpers in the state....fact. As far as the hockey fans in the state. Have always been the same amount. Selling out the arena back in the day and selling out the arena now.
