Well, they were all home games for UND. We spend so much of our resources on hockey that we can't afford bus fare to Fargo?
?And the year before all of the games were played in Fargo. Are you saying FU spent all of their resources on football that they counldn't afford bus fare to GF? SMH.....

Cooper Kupp was the AP first team all American, Hardin was Sports Network second team all American.
Your AP All-American Cooper Kupp sure had a productive day last year vs UND's worst defense in the history of defenses. 9 whole yards on 2 receptions. Yeah....he's good.

And how many years do you give Hakstol and keep increasing his salary before you get better results out of him? He was one game away from not even making it to the NCAA tournament this year.
And notice the results of a team that wasn't supposed to make the tourney....you can look at it both ways.

Overpaid is Hakstol. UND could pay a HC half of what they are paying Hakstol and get the same results. A rookie head coach could recruit to the Ralph and the tradition of UND hockey and not get any worse results than Hakstol.
But not guarantee any better either....

I like what I am hearing from the team...talk of being loose and having fun...that is a breath of fresh air. I am convinced that UND will never win a national title under Hakstol until he abandons the businessman's approach to hockey at the NCAA tournament. Emotion wins tournaments and you have to be loose and have fun. IMO they were always successful at the WCHA final 5 because they had a spot secured in the NCAA and could just go out and have fun and play...they were loose and were very successful in that tournament year in and year out. To the contrary in the NCAA tournament, the businessman's approach is not working...playing way to tight. Is this the year we figure it out?...we will see...

Would like to see UND win but I think the Badgers are one of the strongest teams in the country.
I think Wisco's weak 'strength' of schedule is going to hurt them....

Denver is easy? I have to find out which route you take?! 14-15 hours through SD, NE, and Eastern Colorado is not my idea of a fun day
Is one turn too much for you? No one said it was supposed to be a fun trip. But when you can set your cruise and basically fall asleep....any easier and you would be flying there.

Sorry but reality is nobody wants to sit on a bus for 15 hours, minimum. It was a good idea but Cincinnati is just too far for most people. Doesn't mean the fan base does not support the team and travel well, it means they are going to get there another way.
You are not counting the stay in Chicago that they wanted to do. I'm sorry but if you are going to take a fan base....do it in one day.

Not when the tickets are in the $1,000 range that I've been hearing about. But go ahead and use the current year as an implication that every single person flies to games. I've driven to a game in Omaha and Denver so that sorta debunks your airtight theory.
Omaha and Denver are easy drives....I could do that in my sleep. Driving to Cincy from the Grand Forks metro area?
