Maybe now we can put this "NDSU shouldn't bother playing UND because it's a mismatch" idea to bed now, in everything, including football. This is a rivalry and the games, for the most part, would be close, just like they've always been over the years. This is too much fun not to do as often as possible. Both schools benefit from it and the student bodies need it.

I wasn't a Tebow fan until the haters started discounting everything he does. No, he doesn't pay defense. No, he doesn't kick fieldgoals. No he isn't the running back. No he doesn't catch passes. And no, he doesn't try to take the credit for the wins.
But, what he does do is scare the crap out of the opposing defenses with his running potential which opens up the running game for the backs and the passing game.
And what he does do is get them into position to win with a fieldgoal--no he doesn't kick it but neither does Aaron Rodgers.
And what he does do is play great in the 4th quarter--when it really counts.
And what he is doing is getting better every week at passing--which is what all the talking heads grade QBs on.
So the haters can keep gnashing their teeth and attempting to find other things to attribute the wins to besides Tebow. But his Broncos teammates will tell you what stallion they're riding to the playoffs.

To the substance of the quality of play, it continues to make quantum leaps. The one timers this weekend were a thing to behold.
Agree. I attended my first women's game on Friday night and the play was so impressive I went Saturday night as well. The one timers and the slapshots by the Lamoueux girls were men's team worthy. Plus Karvinen took a pass in front of the goal as she was skating laterally by the goal mouth and put it in behind her back--truly Truppworthy! These girls can skate!

I'm showing my age, but the Sioux had a little guy by the name of Kevin Maxwell back in 1979 that lit it up his first year here. If Grimaldi is anything like him, we're in for a treat.

Agree. Just sayin its hard to come in as a freshman and dominate. I've never seen Grimaldi but everything I've read about him sounds good. Still he's tiny and Nelson beat him out for the juniors spot.

Iverson is 6-10, plays F/C. He's a junior. He's from SD so our chances probably aren't good, but if he sees a team on the rise where his addition could make a big difference...

Looks like I don't have all those friends that I thought I had. Family too.
Anyway, I likely have two lower bowl singles for FRIDAY, and anywhere from 2-4 lower bowl singles for SATURDAY,
for the Gopher series.
TicketBastard receipt is just shy of $60 per ticket. Yikes! This, of course, is my price.
