  1. Sorry did not know you were a dudette.
  2. Dude do you realize I have been following this issue for the last 27 years and have been studying it for the last two years for a thesis? I could care less if he works at the airport considering that Patrick Dame agrees with me. Dudue did you know that GFK has better service than many cities in the US with populations under 200K, I checked. A lot of people on this board think they know the game of hockey also, but don't have a clue.
  3. Simple because United goes to DEN and Frontier did also until the 500K Fargo gave them ran out. No real gain from having the SLC run at all, that is unless you wan to get to Medford,OR with only one stop.
  4. The numbers are not there to fill a DC-9. Fargo has lost its 319 and DC-9 service. They have almost 4 times as many boardings as GFK.
  5. Well if a fifty seat plane is not being filled why use a larger one? Explain how load factors can be made artificialy smaller?
  6. Load factors do not justify a larger plane.
  7. Load factors do not justify larger planes. Also with Delta's DC-9 fleet being so small now they would have to use a larger plane with only half the seats filled. Do you want to crunch the boardings and load factors for the last 20 years as I have?
  8. Did NDSU then go D1 out of envy of the success of UND hockey? If the Republicans have their way Fargo should be very worried about getting funding for their diversion project since that requires earmark spending. With no Pomeroy and Dorgan to get them the money they are in trouble, Oh but Berg and Hoeven will get the money for them. Neither of them have the muscle to get the kind of money Fargo needs. If someone lives in Fargo that posts here be afraid, and I mean very afraid, of future flooding.
  9. Bunch Hall, a dorm, is closing by the end of January. The people who live there, that are not leaving, are moving into 319.
  10. RJs are the appropriate size planes for the market. If you did your homework you would find markets even larger only have RJ service e.g. Bentonville,Ar, Knoxville,TN.
  11. And like you said it hits the cros bar or post and goes in that seems like they are the goalies enemy and not a friend.
  12. Distance and no nearby airport maybe? Als soccer, softball, and baseball bring in zero dollars, only take.
  13. Yeah but it still would not have gone in the net so the shooter did not beat the goalie.
  14. Why are goal posts and cross bars called the goalies best friends? If the puck hits either it was not going in the net and does not count even as a shot on goal.
  15. As if most UND students have a clue what is happening on the ice, or for that matter many other people in th stands.
  16. This is not surprising since this was Allegiants goal from the start. According to GFK Flight Support it is Canadians that are filling the Allegiant flights.
  17. Reminds me of Ian Kidd who thought he was a forward.
  18. Fun series for sure. After watching UNO and the Goofers I think that might be the best games to watch all season. The style that both teams play is going to make one great exciting series to watch. Now if Blaiser was not there then I would not think this. I just have astrong belief in Blais since the 80's. Heck look what happend when he left the first time. The whole program went south without him.
  19. I am going to go out on a limb, cut it off if you like, and predict that UNO sweeps UND in Omaha, Friday 5-3 and Saturday 4-2. I believe in Blaiser too much I think. Second prediction to be made. UNO National Champs in either 2013 or 2014.
  20. I thought I should let you know why I am so familiar with the base. We have had the vending, candy machines and juice contract, there for years. I roam all over the base and have for years.

  21. Well they have not done any work on any dorms in years. One of the dorms they tore down was full ol mold. The dorms they converted as you noted are being used for people passing through and transient housing and that is all they have ever been used for, that is why the motel people run them. Next time I am out there I will talk to a Sarg. who is a dorm manager he should know what their plans are. I even doubt that there are 2,000 Air Force pesonal left there anymore. The dorms are really empty and there is generally only civilians working in most buildings. I would say there might even be more civilians employeed than military today.
  22. I think you might have misunderstood him. They have replaced family housing over the years because the old stuff was junk. There are only three buildings like you refer to. One was a converted dorm that was done eight years ago. The other five years or so ago and neither house enlisted people. They are used as motel rooms and that is why the Warrior Inn runs them and provides housekeeping services. The other building is across the street from the Warrior Inn and is called Faimly Billeting. People stay there when moving on or off the base. Also during the winter there is hardly ever anyone in the first two buildings I mentioned. The number of kids that go to before and after school programs at the Youth Center has fallen off the map this year. Why do you think they want to merge the two schools on base? Because there are hardly any kids left. If there was a new building for enlisted people to live in I would know for sure since my company would have equipment in it.
  23. I have an all access pass for the base and there are no new living quarters. They turned a couple of old dorms into motel suites that the guys from the reserves stay in and families that are leaving or coming but that is it, and that was a few years ago. No dorms or livng quarters have been built. They now have five dorms total for enlisted people. Three family style dorms, two to the southeast of the gym, by where the commissary was, and one across from the Warrior Inn which are all operated by the Warrior Inn. I have been going there on a regular basis for ten years and I think I would know.
  24. I think people say "we" because they want to belong to something they are not a part of. Something they could never be a part of in reality so they need to grasp onto something bigger than themselves. Now if they were a student than they are part of something as the "we" being a student at the same school and it is their school's team. But when adults try to grap onto a college team and try to become a part of it that is different .
