3 of the Top 5 teams in the country...all playing each other to ties or 1 goal wins...that’s just flat out good hockey played by 3 good teams

The landing page on NCHC.tv shows Western winning 3-0...scared me

How do you run a pairwise without nonconference games?? All that matters is NCHC points

Game speed is impossible to replicate in practice. I don’t think UND is that slow....I think DU is that fast.
also different to have come off a game with UMD vs a game with Miami...just saying

Ummmm....we’re not 2-0....we’re in second place right now behind UMD.
it’s early, no panic, but....we are definitely not playing up to our potential yet.

If the knee’ers are willing to engage in constructive dialogue and listen to all sides, then i can be receptive to it. I disagree with the sentiment, but I support freedom.
Racial injustice and class oppression is not a uniquely American thing. In fact you can actually look to the United States as a beacon in terms of the journey. From leading the revolt against colonialism via the Revolutionary War, to wrestling with hypocrisy in the founding documents, to fighting a bloody civil war in part due to slavery, to Indian affairs, to Women’s suffrage, to segregation, to the civil rights movement.
my point is that world history is full of tragedy, that the US is far from inherently evil, or an anomaly in the world. Oh, and that open-minded discussion is good.
that said, you will never see me kneel during the anthem. Too much family gave a lot for that flag and what it represented in the trenches of France, the beaches of the South Pacific, and the jungles of Vietnam.
God Bless this Nation. God Bless Freedom.

Do a lot more good to condemn racism as a team with a video statement or something.

The reality of the stock market is that it is fully disconnected from reality right now. It has been since the dot.com bubble. Once people started buying growth instead of income streams it became a joke. Throw on the fed continuing to print money. This is all a house of cards.

Adam Schiff is the worst degree of political scum. He is party over country. He has zero integrity. Before anyone responds with Orange man bad, that would be a deflection. The issue is not Orangeman. The issue is Schiff and how he has no code.
regarding the insane vote numbers from the urban centers. It floors me that the biggest disaster areas in the country, with horrible schools, crime, huge chasms between have and have nots get to infect the rest of the country with their abject failures and their politics of envy. The extremely wealthy of course support the left, because they want to appease the masses so that they can continue living in their version of Versailles

Here’s the irony...as a highly compensated person living in CA, I personally will do better under Biden’s tax roll backs. I can likely get my AGI just below his threshold...deferred compensation, 401K...and the return of full SALT deductions....bad for the country...good for a guy like me.

Stated previously I oppose a complete lock down. That does not mean we abandon all common sense measures to limit the spread of the virus.
No disagreement here. Masking didn’t stop us from getting sick, but it might’ve resulted in a lower viral load. Masks in public settings indoors makes common sense. I’m feeling really good about our outcome. We never stopped living life, took basic precautions. Got it. Got over it.

Guess I did not make it clear,
I realize there is a mask mandate in place and some common sense measures have been ordered that if everyone complies will slow down the out of control virus which is the worst in the world,
You see what they did at the Shanghai airport? Would we as a society be okay with that level of draconian lock down? I don’t think we’d be okay with that.

nobody is denied healthcare. Reform has never been about care, it’s always been about who pays for it.

I said learn from, not trade with. As someone with a good standard of living, health insurance, and a healthy(+/-) lifestyle, if/when I need serious healthcare I do and will continue to go the best regional facilities I can - might as well play the hand you're dealt. That doesn't mean our current system couldn't use an overhaul - Canada's system consistently outperforms ours in several major metrics, most significantly life expectancy and percentage of GDP that is spent on health care.
Us system is bi-Modal in terms of pop health metrics. That is an issue, but if you are educated with means- there has been no better time or place to seek healthcare than in the US today.
I would also contend that % of GDP is not a negative. What should a highly developed society spend money on if not improving health and delivering healthcare? It certainly is better than spending it on say marketing and producing junk that you don’t need.
-
If you or someone you loved were dealing with a serious healthcare issue...let’s say it’s cardiac...would you rather be in the Canadian system or the US? I can tell you that id be at the Cleveland Clinic tomorrow.

Wealth and income are two very different things. If you have a high income you can become wealthy over time, but they are different concepts.
the 1% in CA is about $650k, nationwide it’s about $500k. If you are earning that as a w2 employee somewhere you don’t have a ton of tax “loopholes”
-
If I ever hear someone call for “fair share” again for “1%” I’m going to blow a gasket. Basically, in the major coastal cities if you aren’t in the 1% you are proper f’d financially. People making $400k-$800k are victims of envy politics big time.

Speaking from the perspective of one who still lived life, took precautions, but still caught it. There is absolutely nothing you can do to stop the spread of this virus short of sealing positives up like ET and instituting Marshall law. I don’t think that’s acceptable to anyone. So, take your vitamins, get rest...hope your immune system doesn’t go nuts.

I think there is something to the ice conditions that was mentioned before. Boys all night need to check their hollows.
