i agree that some fans might not be happy with it at the excel every year.....the league will want the tourney at a site that makes the most money...i cant see any place that will have a bigger draw than the X....prime example of this is the minnesota rule...that was purely for money...and i think every ad in the wcha voted for it if i remember right!Good point, but the other schools may not like having the touney in Minneapolis every year because it gives an advantage to UND and UMD (and Jan Brady State University (SCSU) whenever they make the tourney).

if the nchc can get the X there would be no reason to rotate the tourneyThanks. As for rotating venues.... did holding the WCHA final 5 at the X really give UM less of a home ice advantage than holding it at Mariucci? I guess I'd be happy with a rotation between the X and Omaha, but I'd think tourneys in Denver and Michigan would see low attendance.

get real...this is college hockey you play hard till the horn sounds...furthermore tech slapped 7 on denver they didnt need to keep shooting the puck into the empty net and running the score up on poor denver!!So you have a 5x3 powerplay and your just supposed to skate laps around the rink? I'm sorry but it makes no sense. You play until the whistle, I figured Sioux fans would agree with that no question

If anyone thinks the mavs are less talented... they were not at the game tonight....watched it on tv or saw the stat where they have outshot their opponents by more than 12 shots per game. fact is that they made one more play than the sioux. If knight buries his rebound chance before uno's game winner we're talking about a 5 game winning streak.

then they played the next night and the sioux won....I would for sure say he is doing more with less. Last year we had arguably the best team in the country and they came to grand forks and throttled us 8-4. Deano just knows how to play us.

Theres never been talk about minot making the jump except on here. Minot can barely make a go of it ,financially, at the club hockey level.Theres talk of Minot State possibly making the jump? I haven't heard that one yet. As of right now the top 2 candidates seem to be Moorhead followed by Illinois. There are also rumors that if Illinois makes the jump that Indiana might have a donor step forward as well.

like ive said before the powerplay turnaround started against bsu...they didnt score but the puck movement was 100% better....the reason....hak put mattson and simpson on top with the first unit....kristo stood with the puck to much...the powerplay is all about puck movent no matter what powerplay u run...even blood and forbert run it better than kristo...which frees up danny to play down low where hes more effective....and when i say effective i mean REALLY GOOD!!!!

correct....tied with cc...but the SIOUX will have played two more games than both cc and denver (who has 11 pts)Could be in fourth right?

maybe the dumbest post you have made...you make cbc sioux sound like a genious!!We need to evaluate him after the first year of the Big Sky. He has an unfriendly schedule with SD Mines and now UCA backing out to try to get UND to 7 DI wins. Plus a new QB (we have no idea who will step up) it will be nothing but a guessing game every week on his coaching skills.

yeah i read that on wikipedia tooIf he tries to come back it does. If he makes an appearance in one of the Sioux's games after the midway point of the season it doesn't matter if he has played in less than 30% of their games or not he loses the entire season.

having the surgery now or in 6-8 weeks wont affect his chances for a medical redshirt ....it would give him more time for rehab tho if he had it now..Yikes....losing Rocco for 6-8 weeks and maybe the year hurts. Given the start of the season and the age of the player, I'm surprised that Rocco and the coaches didn't opt for surgery. This could be a nagging thing his entire career if he doesn't get it fixed, and he could gain a medical redshirt because of the lack of games he's played in.

If the Sioux have a one goal lead late in the third period hopefully we don't see the fourth line.....call a timeout.....have a guy pull a Kyle Rau....do something other than put them on the ice. My favorite one is the "goalie equipment issue"
