  1. Let's see, Eades has a ton more coaching and life experience than Jackson, yet he was let go. Do you honestly believe that if the Sioux had the opportunity to bring in somebody like a Rick Wilson, James Patrick or Brad Berry, they wouldn't because Dane Jackson might be hurt? They could very well bring in someone who doesn't have a big profile, but I don't think it would be because Dane Jackson deserves to be second in command, it would be because they think they will be a complement to the staff and be a good chemistry fit with the staff and players.

Exactly....if Hak was worried about hurting feelings he wouldn't have let Eades go.
  2. I understand it is not a factor in determining seeds. Im just saying there would have been something seriously wrong with the Gophers playing a road game against a team they dominated during the season and finished a mile adhead in the standings. Its a moot point anyway because the NCAA will not go back to on campus sites.

If UND would have hosted the west regional this year the gophers wouldnt have been in it anyway. Duluth most likely would have been in the west. So your reward for your magical wire to wire season most likely would have been BC region.
  3. Last year the Sioux were the best team in the nation and a LOT better than Michigan. Weren't the Sioux the highest scoring team in the nation? To get to the biggest game of the season and get shut out is a choke job in a major way. If that were the Gophers last season EVERY Sioux fan would be talking about a Gopher choke.

It's weak to give Hakstol a pass just because Hunwick had a good game.

Its not hakstol that has been given the pass.....its frattin, malone, trupp, gregoire, kristo, knight and genoway!
  4. For the most part you are right, but the one area that you are wrong is that the 1 seed plays the lowest seed, so if the 6 seed happens to win they would play the 1 seed and then the 2 seed gets the winner of the 4/5 game.

I'm not sure thats how it works....last year bemidji (6) upset umd(3) in the 3vs6 matchup and played denver, the two seed, in the semis...
