In listening to recruiting talk for other sports, do the players know who else the teams are trying to land? I know for example the football team has group chats going among the recruits, does the hockey team as well?

I think one of the interesting parts about all of this, is a comment Tychonik made about standing on the bench for pregame warm ups. Stating how the fans are there before the game and ready to go, etc. That has to be in reference to the students who line up to get in early for big games, the little kids lining the tunnel, and all the people in the halls pregame.
His visit was in Dec. so that had to be the DU series. Good pick by the coaches to sell on the environment. Great strategy and execution on selling the product. Nice win coaches, and let's hope he makes it to campus.

I am wondering if there is a place where you can rent/buy/watch past games. I am thinking about a couple of MN games and I think I am to the point I can watch the Michigan 2011FF game again.
Is there an archive someplace you can subscribe to?

It was a tongue in cheek post. I am well aware of where our athletics stand in the collegiate world. That said, I believe we are moving up in the world.

For TV Yes. They broadcast select events(home football, volleyball, and M/W bball) on WDAY Xtra. Otherwise, a lot of games are covered by Midco with the NSIC deal I think.

I do realize you have to have Midco to get the games, which is part of the problem in the first place with the current deal in my opinion. Hence, my wish to have a statewide network deal.
Its in Bismarck, Dickinson, Williston, Grand Forks, Minot, Devils Lake and Soon all of Fargo.
Pretty good network.

I listened to it. (hated to give it the one more click he wanted). I think he was trying too hard to make it a light and breezy feel and failed at it. When he could have made things UND positive he made them 'well NDSU...' in sentiment.
I loved Kennedy's line about UND and NDSU both having their strengths and just left it with the Law School and Med School. Mcfeely got stuck on it. Kind of a Drop the Mic.

IMO, Schmaltz stays next year. To go play in the AHL, I think his injury bug only gets magnified. He has sat out portions of both years with upper body issues. Not to mention the step up he took this year, in addition to another good year in the weight room, he could really make a splash. I do think CHI will put the pressure on because they need prospects.
Boeser and Stecher will come back, Ladue is gone.

I hear you. Because then that means that the NDSU/UND Hockey fans want to keep the Fighting Sioux name, right? So is that just to continue to impede the school? diabolical!!
