Linesmen 350.00 per game Referee 500.00 per game. Roughly.... Remember this. All of the linesmen and referees have regular full-time jobs during the week. This is not their only source of income. Like stated above in other comments, you'll have to pay for the "high grade" officials. If you compare their pay to a NCAA DI basketball referee.... You'd be shocked. Basketball referees make between 1,000.00-3,500.00 per game. Hockey officials are are becoming a rare breed... And great hockey officials are becoming even more rare.

Anytime a puck goes out of play on a "scoring opportunity", the face-off shall stay down low.

It's pretty bad when a worker can't contain himself until he's done with work. My buddies were working this game, and said he was running into the boards with the Zamboni.
