There are a number of UND fans that cheer for NDSU football when they aren’t playing UND or when they play for National Championships. Most sports fans like to identify with a winner and some are just proud of anything that is positive for N. Dak.
Thank you for providing the definition of 'front-running'.
Absolutely despise and loathe both sides of it.
I want UND to be successful in everything.
Could not care less about the school in Fargo in the name of state pride.

I just didn't like the little dig at bubba considering he was with bubba for 5 years and at the end of his tenure his defense was horrible....ex...mcnichools state rushing up and down and up and down......
and yes we will see..hope he wins a natty (soon) ....but we thought the same with bubba ten years ago and we got scammed.
What did he say about bubba that offended you? What was the 'little dig'?

Guy hasn't even coached a game yet.
But you're asking him to look himself in the mirror already?
We will see I guess.

Don’t limit expectations, although I agree with year #1 probably not leading to Natty.
As for year #2… you better all have tickets for natty pre-ordered. Kalen DeBoer historically has done pretty well in year #2 using his program … what do we think will happen here with Schmidt? Boost up them expectations a bit, folks…Appreciate the positivity and comment. Glad you feel that way.
Nobody has higher expectations for this head coach and the program than me right now.
It will take some time however.
You've really turned the corner though and I love it.

I'd equate it to what the bunnies did with Gronowski his freshman year.
He probably wasn't ready then.
But it paid off in spades in the long term.

I'd start a young guy at QB.
We aren't winning a national championship this year, let's be honest.
Start a young guy and deal with the challenges of it this year. Get him experience and let him make mistakes so he's ready and hardened for 2026 and beyond.
There will be growing pains but it will be worth it in the long term.

I hear he wants to bring back BlackFace to the Kennedy Center too! That would be great! If only dear leader could help us with bringing back the REDSKINS and Fighting Sioux names again! We should get that "UND in 3 Years Guy" that calls into KNOX 47,000 times a day on that! HE should contact Trump and bring back the nickname that time forgot!!! GO UND GUY!!
PS - thanks also for solving the 2 cases of men in womens sports that have occurred over the last 20 years! Finding a solution to a problem that doesn't exist - what Republicans do best!
Seek help.

Person over on HFBoards is saying Verhoeff is getting 200k and Reschny 80k to come to UND. Any truth to these numbers as I thought there was bunch of discussion here how the collective doesn’t have this kind of funds. If this is what they’re getting then that confirms Boisvert left for other reasons than the 💰 BU is giving him.
Those numbers are absolutely false.

This Casey kid isn’t the son of former UND goalie Jon Casey is it?
No. Mom is from Stillwater. Dad is from Brooklyn Park.

I think Josh Morton is doing a great job and is a perfect fit for Augie moving forward...maybe he retires there and it's his last job.

Trump called me yesterday. Had some beers together.
He said he's gonna work on the 25k fee for the collective.
Everyone keep the pressure on please.

I doubt it because its separate from UND and the collective is called 1883.
Has nothing to do with the foundation. They take their 10% for everything.
The 25k is a separate licensing fee to raise money for UND in the name of UND under their namesake.
Terrible.
"Hey we want to raise money for the University of North Dakota to keep kids here and recruit other kids."
"Ok....please pay us 25k and we're good."

I am not sure if this is apples to apples as I don't fully understand how UND and 1883 collective are tied together but ..... a number of years ago I was involved in raising some money for the UND engineering department. We were told at that time that UND took 10% off the top of all donations that went through the UND foundation. Donations that went straight to the engineering department avoided that.
@UNDBIZ is correct. That's the foundation fee. Which I understand is probably a necessity. I get that. We dealt with that during the Impact Scholarship Campaign during the transition. It was a surprise, but I understand that part of it. Cost of doing business.

On the rent.......is this privately owned? A discount would be nice but it's a lot to ask individuals/partners to give up $19,200/year in revenue when the reality is they are likely operating near break-even given the high cost of construction the past 3-4 years.
You sound like you might have experience with this?
Let's just say there were 3 partners on this endeavor. Could all 3 partners afford to subsidize $500 a month each for the sake of the cause and charge $100 rent?
I don't know the answer.
But if I could afford to do it in that position, I would. I think you would too.
As always, easy for me to say without being in that position.

Only 'Cratter things' like always.
You are the antithesis of optimism.
Nobody has or ever will accuse you of that, so no worries.
