- Genoway back and healthy
- VandeVelde back to 100%
- Speedy recovery for Zajac
- Keep the stellar OOC record up by doing well @ the ND Tourney and Cornell
- Consistent goaltending
Long term:- Finish top 3 in WCHA (possible?)
- Make the Final Five
- Win the Broadmoor
- Win the Regional
- Win the National Title

If the old line is that it is best to finish top 3 in the league in order to have the best shot to not only make the Final Five, but to avoid the play-in game...who that is currently in the top 5 ahead of us will have to falter?
DU and UW appear to be for real. UMD has probably some of the best offensive talent in the league. I haven't seen CC, so nothing to comment on. SCSU has good offensive depth, but probably lacks the talent level overall when compared to DU/UW/UMD/UND. There are only 6 points separating us from 1st place DU right now, so anything is possible. It all starts in Jan with home series against MSUM and DU, and a road series against UMN. The team can't be giving points away any longer...

If someone sent me his email address I would be glad to type up a letter to him and get him up to speed.
I am still waiting to hear is there is an apology coming from the WCHA on their screw up last weekend.
Does the WCHA actually have any remorse for their screw-ups because it doesn't seem like it.At least when it comes to us.

wow, pretty high praise from a guy who knows hockey. especially from a guy out east. i heard him on xm home ice, i think they may have interviewed him at the intermission of the umn/und saturday game too? and his position is to grow college hockey, and to entice the top end players to go the college route. with the state of affairs with officials and the league office in the "best conference in college hockey" (which i still believe it is, although mcclown and shep are doing their best to change that), i think he's got some work cut out for him.
He talked about that stuff today too.He seems pretty determined,you're right he does have a tough job but he defintetly knows what he's doing.

This may be a bit off topic.But I'm watching NHL Live right now and Paul Kelly who is the Executive Director of College Hockey Inc. is on and they asked him who are the 3 top programs in college hockey.His repsonse was that North Dakota has the best program and after that and it's hard to find 2 others that are just as good.But he did ramble off some other good programs like some of the schools out east,Denver,Minnesota,and what not.He's from Boston too which makes it even better.

My parents just got back up from the bar in the hotel and my dad said that 4 people were in agreement that Vandy may have been benched and Hakstol is trying to send him a message.I personally find that hard to believe.

Just a small clarification...at Tech we wore the black ones on SATURDAY. But I'm guessing you might have meant the last time we wore them during a weekend series and not that we wore them both games. I'm guessing if we wear them at all it would be a Saturday game. That tends to be how it goes.
You're right I meant to say we just wore them Saturday.My bad.I'm going to Duluth this weekend.My 1st time in Duluth and my 1st away Sioux series.Can't wait!!!!

They ALWAYS bring both the greens and the blacks. They did a "behind the scenes" episode of BMT last year where they talked about that kind of thing. I think one comment was made where one time they didn't bring the blacks and Hak wanted to wear them so they had to get them flown in or something like that. It is on a "gut" feeling...
I kinda hope we wear the black ones this weekend.Last time we wore them was at Michigan Tech we got a sweep.When we wore the greens in Denver and Alaska one weekend ended in a spilt the other in a sweep.That's just my take you can disagree with me.
