  1. Tickets sold.
  2. I sent you a PM earlier...

  4. Yeah, Sioux! Sioux! to you T.C.! Thanks again for your help Saturday night -- Brad is STILL ravin' (despite the final score!). We will be down in Section 104 keeping an eye on those below (you know who you are!). Gosh, it just won't be the same without the plethora of Gophers fans at the X -- NOT! I hope the TRUE hockey fans among the maroon and gold show - they are almost people too (ha!) . The rest of their loser followers can stay home with their team(s). Gopher basketball anyone? Oops!
  5. That hit was not as brutal as the double-shot cross-check to the face of one Mario Lamoureux that could easily have been a major, but was not even called as a minor penalty, either. This type of inconsistency also comes into play with Hextall's off-setting minor for interference (?) -- with what, the Goofer's fists? -- during Saturday's tilt. The Gopher Faithless have been bitching about officiating up and down the GPL boards, too, so perhaps the games were better officiated than I thought. Just like situational ethics, Frattin's suspension was a situational edict. He pays for the lack of balls displayed by Mssrs. McLeod and G. Shepherd (and lack of eyes by the pre-Turkey Day officiating crew in GF) earlier this season. The series of hits leading up to and including the Frattin major energized the crowd, his teammates and demoralized the Goofers. Taken collectively with the awesome ensuing penalty kill, it all turned the tide of the game. Pre-Marvin, this might not have even been a minor penalty, much less a suspension.
  6. SURE! Try the handy dandy SiouxSports.com Forum under the Tickets wanted / for sale topic (and avoid the psychotic babysitter killers in the Twin Cities -- Google it): http://forum.siouxsports.com/index.php?showforum=14 There are certain to be F5 tix on Gopher Puck Live! (soon to be sponsored by Cepis' agent as Gopher Puck Dive!, perhaps?), too: http://www.gopherpucklive.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=19&sid=e965e5fab89c27f6e7b747ec273cfb50 (once the Goofer faithless quit cryin' in their beer, eh?) The need for the color change? Bcuz he's C-Piss! Duh! Haven't seen a kid fall over that easily since the Johnny Pohl days (or Bonin?)... GO, SIOUX! (How far? Should they lose one Thursday evening, injure none (in green, black and white, anyway), disqualify none and pack for the NCAA Tourney? Naw, that's GOPHER "Pride" on Ice!)
  7. PM me or e-mail me at PetesPop@gmail.com -- two (2) center ice lower bowls at face value...
  8. Please cheer in my place - 70th birthday celebration conflicts w/ game. Life is a series of compromises.
  9. We ended up with one extra ticket for Saturday night v. Denver -- the Fighting Sioux need someone in that seat cheering! Seat is in row D of Section 302 (end the Sioux shoot twice). The first $25 takes it!
  10. Van's a reasonable guy, if your cash is green. Besides, unless the Goof's keep playing like they did Saturday night v. The Fighting Sioux through the end of the season, they won't be part of the Final Five anyway. Even the GoofFaithful will need someone to cheer for (or ride their never-ending tide of frustration and futility in silence)!
  11. Try the official UND TicketExchange at: https://teamexchange.ticketmaster.com/html/...EN&team=und Good luck!
  12. There were 18 listings for Mankato tickets when I last looked -- listings are by individual game. Most will be Will Call tickets for pick-up on game day (today, eh?). https://teamexchange.ticketmaster.com/html/...EN&team=und As much as I hate the TicketBastards, it is another good source for seats -- especially lower bowl.
  13. What's left of the Spud complex (among its various other "colloquial" names...) is now the East Grand Forks compost/recycling transfer point. It is fenced and has card reader access (via driver license?) if you wish to go have a Griswold family moment. If you are in town by Thursday evening, the Blue Moose has 1/2 price taps (and about 40 to choose from), great food, and a great Northwoods atmosphere. It is actually about a block "downstream" from its pre-flood location. They moved it and it has never been straighter! Try the black and blue (bleu?) balls if they are on the seasonal menu. A schooner at Bonzer's (now on Demers Ave at 5th St.) is always a nice addition to any trip to GF. Tavern United at the Canad Inn, attached to the Alerus Center is another good bet.
  14. I have two (2) lower bowl tickets for this weekend's Sioux v. BADgers series in section 116 (blue line behind the Sioux bench) that I would trade for lower bowl UND v. Denver tickets. E-mail me at dlunk@gra.midco.net or call me at (701) 317-1011 {GF cell #}.
