  1. Someone always wins. But, I think if it goes unclaimed for whatever reason, they roll it over.
  2. Fair enough. I did not know that. I just remember him coming up in Section 8 when he was in HS.
  3. I thought Colton was great. Incredibly patient and smart.
  4. But also glorious.
  5. Exactly, Brian. The 2015-16 team had the second highest winning percentage in the history of the program and won a national tile. Outside of the Circus, it was the best team of all time. So, he's saying we may not see a team like that again in 30 years.
  6. 6-2??? Holy smokes. Great. One of those no win PWR weekends in week one of the season lol.
  7. IT'S. HOCKEY. TIME. Here's DDC's take on the season, including a look at the NCAA Top 20, his preseason NCHC picks and a look at tonight's game. http://bit.ly/2dHFp05
  8. It's been a long time since I've been this pumped for something hahaha. Well... 175 days or so, I should say
  9. D was precisely why I didn't know. A good D can make an average goalie an above average goalie. I think their scoring will be ok. Certainly not as high octane as the past couple of season, but the Poehlings are players.
  10. This makes me so happy.
  11. Personally, I think them losing Lindgren is their biggest question mark. I'm not sure where I am pegging SCSU in the NCHC, honestly.
  12. The youngest Poehling brother from Lakeville is certainly being highly touted. We shall see. I think they'll be a bottom half NCHC, with that being said, that often means they'll make the playoffs since, you know, the NCHC is kind of a big deal
  13. DDC is back!! Come check it out http://daddydumpandchase.blogspot.com/2016/09/its-time-to-reload-ddcs-look-at-2016-17.html
  14. As he should be, Boeser tabbed by USCHO as the top returning forward. Awesome quote by coach Monty at DU: “Brock is a phenomenal player and the best pure scorer at the college level that I’ve seen in a long time,” Denver coach Jim Montgomery said. “Every shot he takes, he’s not only trying to put it through the net, but out of the building. He’s a smart hockey player that makes the players around him better and I’m sure he will be one of top players in college hockey this year.” http://www.uscho.com/2016/09/27/ten-to-watch-meet-some-of-college-hockeys-impact-forwards-for-2016-17/
  15. We now have an early season front runner for "Bold statement of the year".... We've got work to do. I like the way we're set up, but we've got lots of work to do as last year's squad is an all-time-type team.
  16. It wasn't a big deal.
  17. What the &^%$? Badgers suck! Sorry.... I had to.
  18. LOL this season reeeeeeally needs to start, doesn't it?
  19. The atmosphere was more what I was speaking to. And yes, we ABSOLUTELY rolled them in the OT, but could not bury. Seems to me we even had a PP?
  20. But that game was every bit worth of $130. Awesome game.
  21. My bad. I thought it was 25. Looking at the US roster, then, I think he should be in over Dubi. Just my biased opinion lol. But, he's not a grinder nearly as much as Dubi is.
  22. I'm bummed that Brock Nelson didn't make the NA team. I feel he's definitely worthy of that roster. Thoughts?
  23. So, you're connecting SB to a, at the time, 4-time defending national champion? Frankly, we should be good enough to beat SB without a huge performance from Santiago. Need to get it done no matter the standout player. EDIT: Forget what I said first. I misread. However, my second point is the main one. We need to be able to beat SB, regardless of whom has a good day.
