  1. A cheetah

    Interesting

The two most likely answers would have been Liger or Narwhal

The most anticipated answer would have been dung beetle

The most unexpected answer would have been naked mole rat

….any other answers including the one given is unfortunately incorrect, thank you for your participation. Have a great rest of your day.

  2. Let’s not get too far ahead, Providence is legit they have a great goalie and play physical and with speed. I am not putting Omaha in the finals yet.

I am also not looking past BU, but in all honesty “we got this” we relish the underdog role and even being ranked higher going into an opponent’s back yard is right in our wheel house, my only problem is my ears may start bleeding from hearing about Jacky Hockey so much in the next week

  3. Why wouldnt it happen? Did i miss something?

Generally the NC$$ is all about the benjamin’s so I think if they will look back on this the realize they left a lot of money on the table or they may not care cause they are hosing 5000+ UND fans, a horse a piece I guess ;)

  4. Attendance would suck

because attendance was soooo great this year?  UND would still fill the stands I can't really see the other schools attendance any worse than this year, especially with the pathetic showing by SCSU

I really like this idea we were just talking about it the other night, bonus: it would eliminate the fair weather Rodent fan from attending because it's not in their back yard

  5. Anyone know how the SRO tickets work? Is the floor marked with areas to stand? How is it organized? I have never been in SRO.

I have been to a few Force games and I just can’t picture how they are going to make this work out.

Spoke with the some ticketing person last night on the phone at Scheels arena, then ensured me that there would be space enough for all SRO ticket holders, I would think they would have risers down in that area…not sure what they are doing with the general admission space on the north end at Force games, the only SRO tickets I have heard of are club level or south end….the south is what the ice bar is normally at Force games, I know at Force games it’s a free for all, so I am hoping(not holding my breath) that it is configured better…maybe they are moving the north end bleachers to the south end, who knows.

  6. I remember Schlossman saying St. Clair will be ready this weekend and he fully expects him to play(or something along those lines). So I think St. Clair takes Murphy's spot.

If St. Clair is healthy, he plays....I am thinking those former Force guys may be playing with a little extra edge

  7. How much puck luck does UND need this weekend to win?

If you’re counting on “puck luck” at Scheels arena might as well keep the TV off and stay home, I will count on our skill level, grit and determination before banking on puck luck from ice that will only be slightly better than the outdoor Omaha game

  8. Anything in particular of interest you remember him saying during the interview? I used to listen to KFAN every day at my old job but have had to take a break with the new one.

In true Hak fashion he never really states anything directly, but after listening to him for years you learn to read/listen between the lines and it didn’t really sound like he was that disappointed in the overall performance kind of leads me to believe the team wasn’t “instructed” to play at %100, just a theory but I know he is fully aware of all the possible scenarios and situations and looking back on history it is not very often that the #1 overall comes out holding the trophy

  9. Roll Call for Fargo shuttle sites?   Is everyone planning on going to Gastro Pub? I like the idea of it however their parking lot isn’t very big, it’s a large building but mostly pool tables their bar is very small, they do have good food. Bulldog tap has always been our go to for Force games have a feeling it may be crowded as well. The Anderson softball complex is a great idea as there are a few places within walking distance (Old Chicago, Applebees, Famous Dave’s off the top of my head). Mexican Village could be a walking option too depending on weather, which I believe should be fairly decent

  10. I just got off the phone with REA ticket office as they called to upgrade my SRO tickets to reserved seats like others had mentioned.  They said I could pick up the tickets next Mon-Wed (23-25) at REA or they would be available game day (27th) at Scheel's Arena.

Wow that’s not a lot of time for those outside of GF to get their tickets, I’m guessing that first game (which should be UND ) those ticket lines will be extremely long throw parking into the mix and one may be hard pressed to get to their seat in time for puck drop ???

  11. Exactly on SCSU - playing a team for the 6th time in a season is rarely a good thing (unless it's CC).

we will see how Friday goes, if its close or a total beat down, remember SCSU did beat us in the first meeting, they are definitely the type of team that we can get in their heads, if we aren't already there.

I would not look past that Mich Tech team they are legit

  12. Hmm, well that's surprising.  I wonder who bought the tickets.

I'd rather face BC in Fargo than Boston and it irks me how BC almost never has to travel west.  Omaha gets absolutely screwed with the move to BC's backyard as well, which bothers me.  Also, I'd hate to have to beat St. Cloud for 5th time in a row if they were to get past Tech.

Edit:  Not that any of this really matters, as the teams in the tourney are far from set.

THIS !!! as much as I hate playing BC it would be nice to play them on our turf and for them to travel more than 100 miles any year #BCHATER

  13. I had not picked up my tickets yet but when I called last week I was told I could "upgrade" to a reserved seat(s) instead of SRO.  So I took it (duh).  How would a reserved seats come up now?  I was delighted but a bit shocked they were available and especially to me, since I was in the low 1000's on the list.

this happened to a colleague of mine, had SRO club level and was upgraded to actual seats, somewhere it was even $10 cheaper not really sure how that happens but kind of a no brainer, as of this Saturday the seats had not yet been assigned but there really aren’t any bad seats in Scheels arena
