I want to thank all the hockey fans on this site! You Sioux fans are a class act, and have helped make the Sioux my second favorite team. And thanks to all the people on this site who, after 2 years, have stopped saying things like: "Why don't you go to the UMD message board?" and the ever popular "7>0!!" (still said in jest, during the heat of the playoffs, which is OK) Next season should be interesting for both our teams, as we lose several key seniors (Dogz lose 11). I look forward to living and dying every weekend with you guys! You're the best. Special thanks to MafiaMan, who made watching a 6-1 whooping bearable (it may have been the beer also). Also to 01grad: See you at the Final Five next year. Do you always have the same seat?

Let's not jump to conclusions...maybe his gloves were at the cleaners...maybe they don't pay him enough at DUmb, so he has to double at the arena gardener...maybe the hockey gods have afflicted him with painful boils on his hands for DU's cockiness and their undeserved triumph over tDogs last year...

If I remember correctly, somebody has that as their avatar...

If anybody had to end our season, I'm glad it was the Sioux. I was a bit angry at the time about the way we went out...but it has now become clear that the Sioux are a hot team on a mission, and they have sent 3 other teams out in equally lopsided fashion.

I don't think anyone would classify a Sioux loss in the title game as a "choke". Nor would anyone classify the Gopher oss yesterday as a "choke". That said I hope you guys cream DUmb tonight!! I' m getting off work at 6 and rushing home to see the game!! GO SIOUX!!

Nope. There is absolutely nothing fun to do here. However we border on Minneapolis, which has several theaters, museums, and attractions. Those of you who said "Go to prior lake", or Hastings...that's a 40 minute drive. Even St. Paul can take that long in rush hour. Oh wait... If you like bowling there is a place at Texas and Minnetonka Blvd and one at Louisiana and Hwy 7.

It would be great to see you guys again, but my ma is coming in from Cali, so I will probably be a no-go. Great seeing 01Grad at the F5 (we were both pretty hammered Saturday night, I wonder if he remembers seeing me there ). Missed you MafiaMan; you were on the other side of the arena, and probably too busy changing jerseys. I will definitely be watching the game and pulling for the SIOUX!!! Smite the evil ones from "hockey least".

Thank goodness!! I was beginning to think I was getting screwed by having DishNetwork. (I suppose those with DirecTV were screwed last year during the Victory debacle, but I need my NCAA Hockey fix!)
