I agree on alot of what is being said but disagree about the talent Jones has brought in. First, remember this is North Dakota and its not a pleasant place to be in the winter and convincing kids to come to this weather is a fight to start with. Haugen scored over 2200 points in high school and was a Mr. Basketball finalist for Minnesota. Schuler scored over 1700 points and was a 2 time all state player( 1st and 2nd team) and was Player of the year in Ohio and a Mr Basketball finalist for Ohio. Mitchell was first team all Iowa. Allard was 1st team North Dakota and Mr. Basketball finalist for North Dakota. Archer was also 2 time all-state in Missour and was part of 3 state championship teams. Thats just 5 of Jones and company recruits in the last two year to this frigid state. All of them 1st team all state and Mr. Basketball candidates from 5 different states. Id say hes done very well. Its now up to the players to adjust and play to their potential.

McDermott kid sounds very solid. Looking at the Schuler's kid team photo he looks very strong and solid. UND is definately moving in the right direction.

UND will be fine. This is a transition year and from what I hear the best players are all red shirted (7). With these 7 players playing next year and then next years incoming freshmen they will be fine. It takes time , the coaches knew this was going to be a tough year.

Also read on Schuler that his 30 were scored on a D1 recruit going to Marshall University. Averaging 26/game for the number 1 team in the state of Ohio is impressive.

Geaux Sioux, googled Josh Schuler and this is what I found. 2nd team all-ohio last year as a junior with an average of 20 pts/game. Also averaged 20 pts/game as a sophomore. Led Graham to a 26-0 record before losing in the state semi-final game last year. Conference player of the year, District 9 player of the year, County player of the year and more. Just became the schools all time leading scorer (over 1250 points) and all time 3 pointers made. Also read he is the career steal leader on defense. Just scored 41 in last game. Alot of articles if you google him.
