I flew to GF for this show and screamed like crazy when she came out with a Sioux jersey on. Her finest wardrobe change of the night. She is welcome to sit on my lap for any and all games she wants this season!

Thinking back, I'm not so sure that hockey was #1 around 1993-94. That was around the time that our football team finally beat NDSU and went deep into the D2 playoffs while the hockey team was suffering through some down years at the end of the Gino Gasparini era. I think the football program may have actually surpassed hockey in GF for a short time prior to going back down to their proper place in the pecking order in 1997.
Now why would you say something as moronic as that? I love the hockey team as much as the next guy, but for crying out loud, what would be so wrong with the football team surpassing the hockey team. I don't think it would make one bit of difference, but to say that the football team has a "proper place in the pecking order" is wrong. If the football team someday is the premier program on campus it won't be a problem with me.

It doesn't matter what the feelings of Dr. Badass (that's his new name) are, it's in the SBoHE's hands. He can give his opinion I guess, but in the end, it's not up to him. I like Dr. Badass and I have since he first interviewed at UND and as a recent graduate, I wish him nothing but the best of luck!

This is the first I've seen it since I checked this morning. I can't imagine what it would have been like to be that close to everything that happend. I'm glad you are ok and all military personal are always in my thoughts and prayers.

I was on a drilling rig south of Bowman, ND. I was working as the nightshift mudlogger so I was sleeping at the time all started. The directional drillers came and woke me up to see the live footage. The first thing I thought was that this was some kind of joke, like the War of the Worlds broadcast. I just kept watching as the whole thing unfolded, dumbfounded, then made a call to Mom and sister to appease the worry wart in me.
So we were roughly in the same area.

It's hard to believe that it's been 7 years already. I have always heard in my life about how there are moments that you will never forget. I was in the shower when the first plane hit and my brother was yelling through the door telling me about what happend. I made it out to the TV in time to see the second plane hit. I was a junior in high school at RHS and one of the towers fell during my math class, nobody was really paying attention to the teacher anyway, but when the tower fell, school was practically done for the day. Where were you? Please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

Why would anyone buy popcorn at a football game?? You can't cheer as loud on 1st and 2nd down with popcorn in your mouth and you can't beat on the seat in front of you on 3rd down with a tub of popcorn in your hands!!

Jan Brady State's head coach is pretty mad about that offensive pass interference call. It was blatant interference. If it's any consolation though, I think he did win last night's Craig Bohl look-a-like contest.
