Sorry you feel that way. I assure you that is not the case. I have grown up in GF and was a UND stick boy for gosh sakes and I even graduated from UND. Fairweather not this fan.

I have taken some heat on these forum for being critical of the sioux but gosh darn I want to also post kudos to them when they do good things. I know if the sioux are able to win this game it will be huge for them to get back into the fold.

Congrats to the Saints. However watching this makes me think just how close the vikings were to the superbowl and possibly the title. I think the vikes played the saints much better then the colts and the vikes had 4 or 5 more turnovers then the colts. We were 12 men away from a superbowl berth. Good job Saints. Oh yeah and I want Brett Favre to come back next year or else we are in trouble.

Lucia comes back next year for sure and I would count on that. Not the time for Blais to go to Minnesota if at all. I also don't see him returning to UND either. I think he will try build UNO up before he goes anywhere. Who knows maybe he could land a job at USA Hockey.

I think because Minny rarely recruits anyone from outside of Minny that Blais knows you can't get it done by just recruiting players in Minny. I mean look it finally took them to recruit some Nodak players before they finally won some National Championships. Blais likes to recruit Canadians and other players from around the country. Minnesota is to stupid to recruit outside of minny.

Payback? Dude we can barely muster a win at home how can we be worried about payback. Who cares if we want to bring Blais or someone else in to the coaching job. Tell me other then 4 straight frozen four appearances and some extremely embarrassing losses or yeah and the McNaughton Cup what has hak done in six years. He has had some pretty good players come through and still we haven't gotten it done. Hakstol just doesn't get the team mentally prepared well enough. No more status quo. If I was Hak I would start looking at benching some of these players who aren't getting it done. I mean half of our guys look like they need to practice shooting on the net cause they sure can't hit the broadsde of a barn right now. This team sucks right now and it kills me to say that. I am no fly by night type of fan. I have loved the sioux ever since I was the sioux stick boy back in the day. This season has really ticked me off. Every week we hear oh this team is due and they should really get it going they are just having some bad luck. The funny thing is we keep saying that every weekend but nothing changes. Our leaders don't step up and our goalies aren't playing very well. Ok Eidsness has made some good saves but he has looked not very good on a number of occassions. Don't even get me started about Dell. All I can say is this season is more likely then not Lost.

I think he would come back. I went to school with his kid and he has lots of special connections in this town. He would leave UNO for UND. Minny will not get rid of tDon unless they are at the bottom with us again this year.

Or perhaps our players need to quit doing the brad miller time show and start getting mentally serious.

It is going to take an act of god for us to turn this season around. I just don't see it happening this year. Our team just doesn't have the mental toughness that other sioux teams had. It may be coaching or recruiting I am not sure. I just know we don't have it this year.

I am so upset with the performance or lack their of this weekend. We got swept in our own house. What the hel# is up with that. This team is going no where fast. I have to think coaching is a big reason we have no mental toughness this year. Our pp is totally pathetic and every week it seems like we haven't even tried to adjust. I think our young d core is starting to make some bad decisions. Our goaltending can be good and horrible at times. We currently have two goaltenders who are not playing very well and one just quite honestly looks like a deer in the headlights. (Dell) I love the sioux with all my fiber but this has got to be one of the most frustrating seasons I can remember. I can't believe DU beat us 4 times this year. I hate to say it but with the sweep this weekend it is going to take an act of god for us to resurrect this season. My prediction. Put a fork in us we are done.
