If you press "Pick a State" and then pick North Dakota, it gives you a nice picture of when the Sioux Hockey team won the 6th national title. It also tells stuff about Phil Jackson, Roger Maris, and Darin Erstad. (I don't know if someone already posted this info or not.)

Maybe he noticed it the most in that game. Maybe players were taking shots when he didn't want them too.

I have a question. If you just want to go to one game for the Subway Classic game, are you given tickets in the upper bowl. If you want to be in the bottom bowl do you have to buy the two day pass? Last year I didn't buy my tickets until an hour before the game and my tickets were about 5 rows from the top. And another question. If I do buy a two day pass, is it still $35 dollers if I'm under 18 (but I'm not a UND student)? Can anyone help. I wanna go but I want good seats too.

I suppose it might remind some people of different things- depending on when you first heard it. Some songs that I think would be pretty funny would be "What Was I Thinkin" by Dierks Bently (maybe when the other team sits in the penetly box) or maybe they could work in "And the Croud Goes Wild" by Mark Wills. They might be cheesey to some people - but i thought they were funny!! Another one might be "T-R-O-U-B-L-E" by Travis Tritt.

Yes, I do mean that one. I think it would be funny - so do my friends. One country song that I like hearing at the hockey games is "Thank God I'm A Country Boy." Its not a hockey song but when ever I hear it, my mind immediatly goes to Sioux hockey.

Ticketmaster online said there isn't any tickets, but are they really sold out or do I just need to go to the Ralph and get my tickets.

I've talked to people with Native American backrounds, and they have said there are very few Native Americans that don't like the Sioux name. There are just a few that made a big deal about it. Like Marty said - We are honoring the native Americans. We don't have a bad name like the Redskins. I'd rather have our mascot be an acual thing from the history of the U.S. This was their native land - why not use there name as our mascot? The Native American's are something to be proud of. They have tradition that the University exposes to the kids that go to the University. I mean - I'd rather be something with a tradition behind it - rather than a mascot someone just picked up off the top of their head - something that has no tradition behind it. Do we really need to waste the time arguing about it when there are bigger problems to be solved? Why waste the money taking it to court or however they would change it if they ever did? And if those Native American's don't want the University to be the Fighting Sioux - then what do they want it to be?

Larimore or The Ralph?

I was just talking with someone about this!! I hate it when people go to hockey games for the social aspect of it and not to watch. If your not gonna watch the game - stay home and give your tickets to a die hard fan that couldn't get tickets to that game. I'm not a student and I don't have season tickets - there are plenty of times where I couldn't get tickets for various reasons. I'm not saying that I don't socialize at games - but I don't spend the money for the ticket if I'm not gonna watch the game. And with the net thing - I don't know about you guys, but I would feel SO bad if I was the one that hit the puck that killed someone. Deflection or not - I don't know how you would deal with that. I suppose we'll just have to deal with it if they do go up. I'd feel safer - I might not like it - but I would feel safer. The chances of someone getting hit by a puck might be one in a million - but what if that one time was you, your best buddy, or worse, one of your children. I guess I'd rather have the nets - I can get used to them.

It still is that way. For just about every band - in my opinion. I'm not just talking about college bands.

Does anyone know what the age is for youth tickets for the Wild vs. Blues game? I looked on the Raph.com and ticketmaster.com but they don't give the ages. I know for UND hockey games youth is 18 and younger. Is it the same for the Wild game?

This is awesome- People frezzing there butts off for UND student hockey tickets. Believe me - I'd be doing the same thing if I could ....but i can't. I don't go to UND so - therefore I can't get student season tickets which I am very angry about. I sat in the student section last year a couple times and it was a blast! Every seat in the Ralph is a great seat but it just isn't the same when you are right behind the glass in the dead center of the student section. So I guess I'll just be on the upper level yelling at the top of my lungs along with everyone else. But there's nothing I can do about that, so I'll stop whining . I guess all's I wanted to say is - Awesome job for camping out and showing your support. It shows how much our students love our hockey team and will go to all ends just to get a ticket. I hope to be doing the same thing when I attend UND. But hopefully when I go there won't be any of this assigned seating stuff. Thats all for now and GO SIOUX!!!

I love the way the white jersey's look. They should wear the white at home and the black or green for away. Thats my opinion
