  1. What about this? Marcus keeps playing at a high level and then we medical Braden? I think that would be great for the overall program. If the other schools allow it, I don't see why they wouldn't. That would let the 2 young qbs get another year under their belt, and we would have a solid starter for another year.

    Just a thought.

  2. Ok here is the keys to winning against a team that we shouldn't beat, first and fore most our offensive line has to come and play. Our guys by this time should be dang near their quality. As big as strong. Seriously we couldn't get Miller going? Come on!

Second where was Brenaman last game? (the whole d line) Hopefully were done pulling him away from football, and having him doing every interview. The guy is a dude, but when your constantly the face of the team? Really? I fore one am glad the mini series is over. Let these guys get back to just playing football, and of course school. They need a routine. We have the athletes to compete, but I feel the need to feed the sharks (us) is getting a litte too much. Seriously some of you people are emailling the football staff and the AD, come on!!

Social media is great , but some of you need to get a life! ?You are Not part of the team. Quit worrying about the fans? They'll come.

Let's go win one were not suppose too!!!!!!!!

    And then watch them come

Ohh and by the way STOP The Run FIRST.

  3. "Maybe we're working on our first road sweep," Montana coach Wayne Tinkle said Tuesday from the Minneapolis airport, where his team had a layover on the way to facing North Dakota on Wednesday in Grand Forks. "We're going to approach this like conference. We got the first one, let's stay focused, not be content with that and try to get the sweep."

"The Huff kid came to our camp a few years back and we offered him a scholarship and he told us if we did, he would commit," Tinkle said. "Then he changed his mind and wanted to wait, so we pulled the offer. There's a little history there where he might want to tune us up a little bit."

Montana's seven-footer, Selvig, will be available (but likely won't start due to an anke injury). Selvig is the son of Montana's women's coach.

Selvig, is the nephew of Montana's women's basketball coach. His mom Anita, is from Minot and was a standout in high school and then for the lady Grizzlies.

  4. 120 attempts 336 net yards for 2.80 yards per carry. If we can keep this up were going to keep having success. I know Idaho went to the short passing game. They had to, our dbs weren't quite as skilled as their wrs. Fresno hit us with some long ones, same reason.

Now that were playing our level hopefully we can compete in the back, and that will make it tuff for teams to score.

Stop the run, and run the ball a great formula for wins.

  5. EWU and Montana are looking pretty dang great! ;) Just kidding, the Big Sky is a good conference. No conference will ever take over Southland as the best conference though

If I were UND I'd keep talking to some other QB's, you don't want to get put in a spot where you have no QB's...trust me, look at NDSU in '09. It sucks.

Seriously, your mom is calling. Go home.

  6. Those days are gone. Recruiting is a dirty, dirty game. As long as people aren't breaking violations I am fine with whatever they do. Essentially, the only person NDSU has to worry about is Lakes paying for something stupid and unnecessary for a recruit.

Yawn Boy, I think I hear your mom calling, you better go home. Please. You add nothing of interest here.

  7. A poster on ND Preps is claiming Mitch Haugeberg from Minot has decided to play at Minot State. Have we lost another?

From a very good source, mitch has decided to go to Minot State. I think you'll be hearing of an offensive cordinator being hired by Lennon very soon as well.

  8. I find it funny, actually not funny but annoying, that a lot of the post lately have come from the ag college followers. It's amazing how much these guys are dialed into anything and everything. Very impressive. I mean they got it all down ncaa rules, recruiting, everything!! quite impressive I must say myself. Now they should quit showing off and go away........seriously.

'92,96' by your calculatons ND could be represented well. 9 ND kids, 7 WIS, 7 MN, and 1 MT. That could be a large number of ND kids on the feild. Especially the defensive side of the ball. I know these are only projections, but still pretty impressive.

How about the 4 linebackers you have projected, all ND boys!

  10. I am sure it is. He was caught another time with weed or something like that. He missed a bunch of football games last fall from suspension, but I don't know what that suspension was for.

It was weed, he had a buddy mail him some, and when he picked it up he got busted. He is the son of former Minot State head football coach, Dave Hendrickson. I believe he just got a DUI in Belfield where he coaches high school football.

I know Lennon usually recruits character guys, this one is a reach.

  11. In the famous photo showing Reggie Morelli being hoisted on his teammates' shoulders after scoring the game-winning goal against Michigan State in overtime to give UND its first national championship, how did Morelli get the cut on his nose?

During the celebration by one of his team mates

  12. By the way, the Steven A. Austin team that NDSU had their hands full with yesterday also got beat by Delta State. There is no doubt that the NCC and the top teams in DII play and excellent quality of football.

Sorry screwed up! To the NDSU fans here NOBODY HERE CARES HOW GOOD YOU THINK YOU ARE.

  14. I was a little surprised that Storhaug is listed as the starting center at this point. I figured Braegelmann may more over to that slot. Obviously I hope Storhaug can handle the job, and if he does he would be the smallest UND starting offensive lineman in many, many years, at least in terms of height. I don't recall the last starting lineman who was under 6'0".

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

    Jeff Briggs, started @ center in 1987 I believe he was about 5' 9" - 5' 10"
