  1. He’s has been bailed out by two very good scorers his whole coaching career! Extension! He brings in some questionable quarterback/point gauds! See Cleveland!

Geno seems to have the talent, but I don’t understand how he gets himself in so much trouble all the time?! He is such a good player.

    Seems to force it?

Actually, I think most people are fine with it. Seemed more to be a building level of curiosity as to what was going on; excitement he was coming back, then rumors, then he is a no show. More irritating and frustrating than anything to have a kid with potential give up on his second chance, and you have to imagine it burns the the coaches a bit.

Regardless, we have some big young talent ready to step in. Going to be fun. I think the O line will be better this year, and really primed for next year, when 2 of our studs are seniors.

Anyone know what the story is with Helgren? Sounded like a big get out of HS, then it sounded like he was injured last year; is he good to go? Started hearing some good things about Nguon last year too, any word on how he was in Spring football? Tobin seem to be the hot name right now out of the young guys.

Is that a random guess or is it known that he's actually going there now? They're D2 in the NSIC now so that's not bad football

    Random guess.

  4. I sure hope you're right! Just heard some news at the lake when I asked some locals what was up with his there not there (GF).

They didn't sound too positive about it.

    I like your info better.

KXMC is garbage ……everything out of Bismarck as far as news goes…….local weather and local sports

    KMOT has local news/weather/sports Monday - Friday…..

Minot folks not happy with the new KXMC…..Most people I know now have changed from KX to KMOT

Both stations in Minot are garbage, KX not local anymore and KMOT no on air talent?  Kids from MSU that are getting their first on air experience and it brutally shows.

  6. UND should never be a destination, get a young guy In that wants to make a name. Jones isn't a head coach!i think we should be saying, that coach was good coach?! Seriously Graboski is saying what to Jones? That guy couldn't coach him self out of a wet paper bag?

I hope attendance is good but I'm not optimistic based on what I've been reading all week. I think it is a shame that so many UND fans are in New York today. Those people are needed at the Alerus for a playoff football game that is 1000 times more important than a non-conference regular season hockey game.

Let's please not turn every thread into an attendance thread please! You can only control what you can control. I'm sure Coach will say that at some point today!!!

    Really?

Studsrud has been...ok. Hasn't made as many mistakes, but he also hasn't been amazing. Statistically, he's the 5th best QB in the Big Sky and you think he's one of the best in the country?

Are you guys referring to that pass to  TE Fiedler in the end zone? Brilliant but not sure it was a called play. I think Brady saw the opening and took lt but

then again, what do I know?

May have been a run/pass option, but if it was a straight run our lineman would have been down field blocking trying to get on the second level.

NDSU hasn't lost a game that matters in 5 years..................................let's not throw too many stones about a regular season loss around here.

I agree with you, but this years team seems different than teams from the past, 2 overtime wins at home and a loss? Also, have tough finish out with Youngstown State, I would say lucky at home but not maybe this year and then 3 tough ones on the road, USD, W. Ill , and probably UNI's last chance to salvage season. What if they lose 2-3 of those games?

  11. Not that it matters much, and I don't know where to put this, but on the front page under football standings, Weber is listed as 3-0 in the conference. On the Big Sky sight they are 2-0 in conference play.  I think their win against Sac St must have been a nonconference game?
