Heard an great example a few days back. If you want to see how well most masks work (non medical grade), wait until the first cold day. Stand outside of Hugo's or Hornbacher's and watch when people come out of the store wearing their masks. When you see the steam coming through their masks from their breathing, ask yourself, do you think those masks are really blocking anything?
-
Some would also propose it's pseudoscience when the "experts" that are pushing masks can't tell you how effective they are due in part to differing levels of quality and user ability.......and even hint that masks only work when quarantine is used (so hiding in a bunker will by default stop the spread.....but the flimsy paper thin mask won't. Once again, consider the sources too. You have a U of M guy.....and a UMD guy that isn't even a doctor railing on ND. Get your own state in order first.

You just wait. That 74000 number is gonna hit. Just give it enough years.
-
Just pointing out that they are both indirectly trying to buy votes. That's what politicians due. Don't pretend like your guy is any different in that category.
-
Biden has said he will infuse cash into the postal service and end their retirement prefund mandate....Biden isn't trying to buy their vote or anything is he?
-
Can't speak for Thorson, but Mock is a decent guy and on the more moderate side when it comes to Dems

Rules for thee but not for me. Big difference being sharing someone else's money or sharing your own money.
-
This is all a non-issue. More than likely just another member of the lucky sperm club. Plenty of those on both sides. Don't underestimate the benefit of getting a nice chunk of money early on instead of having to build a nest egg up over time.
-
It's been said before but it deserves another mention. The complete lack of common sense that has caused for policies to be enacted that decrease medical capacity at the very time when it is needed most.
-
At least King Walz doesn't have to worry about those 16 clinics being too full now.
-
The "HIPAA" card. Amazing how many people are full proponents of it until it involves someone other than themselves.
-
Well there is that too. It was kind of a hypothetical question since as another matter of practice I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know......was more of if a friend told me.
-
See that is where your TDS kicks in. You assume that anyone that doesn't buy all into Covid is out there walking up to old people in wheel chairs, pulling their mask off, and breathing on them. Playing sports? Yep. Eating at buffets? Yep. Kids in school.and fully participating in activities? Yep. Going to bars during all but a couple hour window on Friday and Saturday nights? Yep. Not wearing a mask whenever possible? Yep. Dropping down to my knees and screaming when required to wear one? Nope. Quarantining for weeks because someone might have been in the same room as me for 15 minutes and 1 second instead of 14 minutes and 59 seconds? Probably not. Quarantining if a dart buddy gets it and we were near each other most of the evening? Probably.

Lol.....you have that confused with the last two years of RBG.

Personally I choose to use my family doctor for all medical advice and would consult with him. Then I would directly notify the people I had been around leading up to it. As a matter of practice I don't give out my sensitive personal information (or that of my friends) including health history to college kids making $10 an hour over the phone with no real way of verifying they are who they say they are. I always operate under the assumption that anyone I come in contact with could have it, and that I could be an asymptomatic carrier. With how contagious it is, others should be doing the same and acting accordingly. I avoid large crowds....I avoid settings with old and vulnerable people.....but I am not hunkering down waiting for a 100% vaccine to come out.

Drive-by Mike showing the level of input he's capable of if you give him a couple of days to formulate it.

Better call midco/quest because someone severed the DSL line going to your bunker if you haven't seen the "if he recovers too quickly it must have been a hoax" theories that are out there.
-
And regardless of the motive, unless you think his team pulled off a RBG Weekend at Bernie's like stunt and made a near dead person look alive for a photo op, the fact that he was riding around in a car over the weekend without tubes coming out everywhere is a sign that things aren't as dire as some would like to believe.
-
Sure they aren't gonna tell you every single minute detail about his treatment, but when you step back and examine what has been made public it's actually quite a bit. How much more do you need? Do you want them to say that instead of one hour on supplemental oxygen he was actually on it for two hours ....so you and your friends can justify cleaning out the toilet paper aisle at Walmart again?
-
Whether he is or whether they wait until tomorrow, does that really matter?
-
So a cardiologist from UC San Francisco that has never had any medical involvement with Trump is the person you cited? Once again, you do realize that as President you have some of the top doctors in the world at your disposal to treat you? Weiss apparently didn't make the team.

Bison06 beat me to it.

It's almost like those with TDS are upset that the medical community is getting better each and every day treating Covid even in those that come from a higher risk category.

On a sad note, Rednecks gopher has been eliminated in the search for the next Punxsatawney Phil. Officials realized that they were going to need a gopher that would stick around long enough to actually look for his shadow without being scared off.

I know you are having trouble understanding the concept of overabundance of caution and the privilege of being in a high profile position. I'll dumb it down in terms that you can understand. When a Hollywood star gets sick, they aren't waiting in line at the after hours urgent care sitting next to all of the uninsured people that came in using the ER as general health care with screaming kids that have snot pouring down their face. And you further paint yourself in a corner without knowing it. If a case of Covid in a 70+ year old fat man can go from "severe" on a Friday to getting discharged on a Monday (or soon after)....how severe was it really?
