Okay, I haven't been able to listen to the audio for the last 10 mins. because my computer took a sh$%. I tried to link into the fightingsioux website to get the audio and even get into the site. The only on siouxsports wouldn't work either for me. I don't know if it is just my computer but if anybody could provide a link that I could just click on to see if that would work would be great.

I didn't know that the gophers had the best power play college. We better not be taking any stupid penalties next weekend. (Greene are you reading this while you sit tonight?)

Doesn't anybody else hear the band playing that annoying beat? If I was a fan there hearing that every weekend I would probably go up and stick a tuba on top of their directors head.

I wonder if the refs will start calling too many penalities now. It seems like their have been a bunch in the gopher series.

Why are Sat. nights typically lower scoring? Is it because the players are tired, the teams know more about how to play against each other or a combination of both?

How were you in G.F. and smoggy California at the same time?
I just like to take nights, such as these (no tv) off of Sioux hockey to be with other friends that give me a hard time of being too wrapped up in the team and never going out on the weekends. I was just hoping that somebody might be able to inform me on what happend tonight, but I am about to pass out anyway and will just find out tomorrow I guess.
I still would be good though to start a recap post immediately after the game so those of us who missed it can catch up quickly and not have to wait until morning.

I just had other plans tonight and just got home to see we won big. It would be great if somebody could start another thread each night once the game is over with a quick recap.
I couldn't listen to the game tonight and don't really feel like scrolling through 14 screens to find out what happend and also can't wait for the recap and box score tomorrow. Could somebody please just let me know what our highlights were scoring-wise?
I love you PCM, you are the best, but just can't wait until morning sometimes when I don't listen in.

I would have to say Brandt down the road too, but I believe that it is true that some goalies tend to get better play in front and luck to win, such may be the case for Parise. I just don't think that he would make the big saves as Brandt might down the stretch. This is why it is important to look at goals against and save percentage because you don't know how long you will average almost 5 goals a game for your team.
I just wanted to know if anybody had heard how Blais was planning on playing these two goalies and what point in the season he sticks with one? I would think that if Brandt starts Friday and plays solid, he will and should play on Saturday.
I used to go and watch practices and it was easy to see which goalies looked better and were involved more preparing for the weekend. I don't know if they let people into the new arena to watch still, but one goalie would usually stay around and take in more practice (Karl G. when I watched, but this might just be him and his tough work ethic and not a preview of who was minding the net in the upcoming weekend)

It seems that this is a topic that we haven't discussed for awhile. I just wanted to know if Blais is starting to think about playing one goalie more than the other yet? Anybody hear? I know it is tough because one has more experience and a better save percentage, but the other has a better won-loss record. It seems that he is still going to be rotating them until one has a good outing and they earn the right to play 2 in a row. Just wanted to see if anybody has heard, I was just curious.

That would be fun to go to Wisconsin. I would do it in a heartbeat if I had tickets and the weekend open, but I don't know that far ahead yet what my schedule is.

It's almost like we are trying to get the pucks to our key guys or they are just getting more ice time and are always creating opportunities. It would be nice to see others get a goal, but I want a hat-trick!
