The one thing I really love about Bina is that he should be around to finish his career at UND and not leave like other strong players do.

Way too long to wait. Who does Mankato play this weekend? At least we can scout for the team and provide the info. here for them to read.

Just play every game like it is the championship against the gophers and give it your best.

I guess it would be tough for us to finish in first after I just did the what if calculator, but it would be nice to knock off some of these other teams. We need to finish higher than 4th to hope we can play some of the bottom teams in the conference for the first round and to help our power rankings.

Between DU and SCSU would be an ideal break week. I think we will be fine though because they have so much confidence in themselves now, which both U of M goalies don't have. I think St. Cloud will catch the gophers because they seem really consistent. I hope our series at the end of the year has some implications, but I don't want us to beat St. Cloud to help the gophers, which is why we need to sweep up until then so we can have a shot. We just need to hope that the Colorado teams lose.

It does always seem that Mankato always plays us really tough in G.F. as well. Whenever we are matched up against them in playoffs at the end of the season, it almost always takes 3 games.

This is going to seem really long since we just played so well and I want to have this excitement again right now!

Anything is possible now with the way we are playing.

I really like our schedule the rest of the way. We should be able to do well against Mankato and Duluth and then we have tough opponents in Denver and St. Cloud to help us get ready for the postseason. It is just amazing how we start to pick up steam in the second half of the season, almost as if we are toying with the competition in the first half.

Here it is!!! We are a much different team now than when we played Mankato in the back and forth goal scoring frenzy earlier this season. I hope we can continue this fire into this series though it is a ways away! Sioux sweep!!

Isn't there a way to search for the top ten plays on the ESPN website? Also, where is AZ or somebody else that knows how to start a new topic posting pictures to preview the Mankato series? I am so excited right now that I wish they played again tonight. Let's get pumped about the future of the team and get this thing rolling!

Sorry, I screwed up. They said top plays coming up and they were just of college basketball. Still watching and hoping...Not sure if it will be at the top of the hour or not because Sunday is usually different.

I agree. It was very fun being at the game tonight and talking with LFSPRO and Al Pearson among many others. Our athletic director and wife were making a scene, but when I stayed after the game to talk with a couple of the players a gopher fan walked by me and gave me the finger. I have never had somebody do this to me and he gave me a look like he wanted to fight. This over a hockey game, good grief. What the hell did I do to him other than the fact that I was wearing a Sioux jersey. I did nothing to deserve this and asked him if he was serious and he just kept walking. This is totally uncalled for and the chants they were doing at the end of the game show that they don't have class and we need to be above that.

Just got back from the game and I was wondering what kind of jerseys we were wearing tonight, and why did they decide to go with black? It was an exciting win and great to see so many Sioux fans out to support them. Many of us were at Sally's and that was fun, until a guy started arguing with us about the Sioux name. The only thing I don't like about the name is when people say Sux, Susies, Siouxage, etc. If we lose the name Sioux, we should just go with North Dakota and not have another nickname and those that want to keep saying Sioux can. Screw getting another name, just go with North Dakota on the jerseys and keep the legacy of the name by not coming up with a new one. Why do we need to have a name along with the location? Oh well I am drunk and need to go to bed and get ready for another win tomorrow. Since most people were predicting a Sioux win tomorrow and not tonight, we should be able to get a sweep right?!!!

If we can get the first goal of the game that might get the gophers down a little and they haven't dealt with adversity very well yet. It seems like when they are behind, they have a tough time coming back in the losses against Wisconsin and Denver. They did have some good chances though, but we need to score first and early.

The guy that harassed me was probably a volunteer over 70. I know that they are probably told to keep a watchful eye because the place will be packed especially with Sioux fans trying to see from the standing area.

Be sure to watch out for security guards that will accuse you of bothering gopher fans and creating problems. Last year I was just standing at the railing watching the game and a guy came up to me in yellow jacket and told me I had to leave. I told him I didn't do anything and I think that it was just a ploy that some gopher fans told this guy I was causing problems. I was really upset and explained to him that I didn't do anything and convinced him I was telling the truth so I could stay. Just a heads up to watch out for the security people because I think they are out to get us during these weekends.

SIOUX YEAH-YEAH!!! I am wearing my green jersey to the school I teach at tomorrow since we don't have school on Friday!!! I hope nobody finds it offensive.

I couldn't sleep at all last night because I am already going nuts waiting! This is such a huge series since we can help Denver or St. Cloud stay close to the pack by winning and keep our team momentum going.

Where is the Sioux toilet flushing down the gopher? I am surprised that nobody has pulled that out yet!

Last year I was in a suite for the 6-1 loss and I was really glad I was drinking because it didn't really hit me right away that we were getting smoked. I am hoping to find a way to get up to the upper level and be able to keep my Sally's sloshing going throughout the game.
