  1. This team makes way too many mistakes and has too inconsistent goaltending to have any realistic chance to win a NC$$ championship. The runway to fix these problems is growing shorter and shorter. They need to make significant improvements in these areas and I frankly have no faith in this coaching staff to get it done. They can look like world beaters one game and the most inept mistake prone team in another.

Need a goalie. When is the last time we had a goalie with >.900 save pct? Persson flopping all over the place. Rebounds galore.

I’m sure Berry can go to the portal again for a goalie, worked awesome the last three years. Can’t seem to recruit or develop a good one.

No chance of winning 4 playoff games in a row with this goaltending and defense. Zero.

I’m hoping the coaches spend a lot of time reviewing film overnight and offer some real coaching before tomorrow’s game.  Lot of coachable moments.

Well I suppose that’s a possibility. Not holding my breath.

  5. With the rules now in place for OT in playoff games it is very difficult for me to make a case for wanting the ball first. If KC’s OT drive was the first possession would they have gone for it 4th down deep in their own end ?  Maybe, but the decision was very easy for them since they were trailing.

  6. It looks like there is an error in the NCHC standings. The site shows St. Cloud with 28 points while the NCHC web site shows them with 30 points. I believe they have two shoot out wins, could that be the missing two points?

Statistics for the year according to NFL.com:

    Jared Goff      4575 yards 67.3 completion % 30 TDs 12 INTs 97.9 passer rating

    Jordan Love   4159 yards 64.2 completion % 32 TDs 11 INTs 96.1 passer rating

Goff also beat the Buccaneers, Broncos, Raiders, Falcons--all teams that Love lost to. Goff did split with the Bears and the Packers swept the Bears, but otherwise, Goff had a better year. I don't know about the random last 9 games that you cherry picked, but Goff is better than Love in almost every statistical category. This is the same Goff that some Bison rubes on this board thought was worse than Wentz (those are the most delusional fans, although Packers fans and Bison fans seem to overlap). I hope and pray that the Lions get to play the Packers again.

Not a fan of either team but I think I would rather have Love than Goff going forward. I believe he started to figure it out the second half of the season and has a higher ceiling.

It’s going down. Find the damn lifeboat.

Not sure it’s going down but the boat is adrift and going nowhere.

  9. Persson needs to get back to how he played the first 10 games or so. He has not looked like a championship goalie for a while now.  Our 3x3 play has been horrendous. If it’s one game it’s on the players but this has happened numerous times and that is on the coaches. Why Berg decided to shoot a poor quality chance on a 1 on 2 is beyond comprehension. They don’t seem to understand the concept of 3 on 3 and the value of puck possession. To lose a two goal lead to a team of UNO’s caliber is pathetic. This team has not been getting better as the season goes and that is on the coaching staff.
