Century has made a believer out of me. They sure didn’t look like much when I saw them lose to South three weeks ago.
Central looked like they could name the score after they picked apart Red River last night. They seem to be peaking.
I hope to make it home to catch the title in its entirety - crossing the river first to watch Moorhead in the Section 8AA semifinals. Magical time of year.

Can someone please spare me the math and tell me what time the Czechs and Russians play tonight?

Central 2 Davies 1 in OT for the title
I'm looking forward to an epic Central - Red River Semifinal. I'm banking on it going into OT, leaving the winner a bit flat for the next night. Davies takes advantage and wins their first state title.

I'm reminded a lot about the 2014 season as follow along this journey on the bubble. Just getting in was a victory that year. 0% expectations as the #4 seed....then they kick in the door and make it to Philly. That was fun.
2011, 2015, 2016 were stressors because they were supposed to advance. Don't get me wrong, I loved all three, it's just neat when the underdog advances and especially when the underdog wears green.

It's goofy as heck this week so try to follow Moy's logic. Personally, I'd rather see the Gophers in UND's regional than DU.

USA gets Slovakia again on Tuesday, for a right to take on the Czechs.

So it’s an “Eighth-Final” round game on Tuesday vs a Finland / Sweden / Canada type team? Someone who was second in their group? We will find out tomorrow.

“I’m sick and tired about hearing what a great team the Soviets have. Screw ‘em!”

That’s a big win by Davies last night over Red River. Not only does it give them a berth at state, but it likely puts them on the opposite bracket for both Central and Red River.
i know Century looks impressive out west but Davies (and South for that matter) took it to them two weeks ago in Fargo.
Davies is a quality team, next week will be interesting.

Attitude and Effort are controllable. I agree the talent is there but those other intangibles above are lacking.
UND has got to have the win tomorrow. Even a sweep in Miami next weekend does little for them in the Pairwise. After that I can’t see the St. Cloud series going well.
I hate to make cliches but the season may live or die tomorrow night.

It is going to be weird watching UND on the road in the first round of the playoffs - hasn’t happened since 2002.

....and fifth again in the league standings if Duluth’s lead holds.

Can’t remember the last time it wasn’t fun following this team. We are there now, sadly.

$#!+’s getting old.

I called a 4-4 tie tonight...right now I would take it after that dumpster-fire of a second period.

100% on power play for Omaha. Good grief.

Has there been a Mismash sighting yet?
He is studying somewhere with Bryn Chyzk, apparently.

A pair of two goal leads, come on now let’s take care of this, boys.

We are Good at hockey tonight.

Very solid first period on the road. Youth is served in both zones.

Congrats to the Captain, Chay Genoway, on the Olympic Bronze Medal.
Seven years after he left the program, I am still impressed by his leadership.
