I got my horrible jersey today, and I'm happy with it. Thicker material than i thought it would be, and the patches are bright and detailed. It's too small for me to wear, but i have other plans for it. If you can get it for under $20 i recommend it (I saw some going for 50 bucks today -I have more common sense than that). Of course, its always better to get AZSIOUX jersey!

That may be unintentional, as it is my impression that UND athletes are sensitive to stepping on the logo. UAA's goalie last winter was almost beat down before the saturday night game for hitting his stick on the logo at center ice during his pre-game warmups (this may be completely wrong, but that was how I saw things unfold from down on the glass. It could have been for another reason (i.e., his looks))

Well, I am the member who bought one... I'm a poor law student who can't afford to buy a genuine one. In my defense, there is a resemblance, and with the fate of the namesake and logo I am trying within my means to collect what I can. I won't be wearing it to the ralph (UNH baby!!! Dec 28th) but its just something I wanted to have. Who knows it might be cool to have down the road. I haven't received it yet. I got it for $11, and if it really sucks then I'm out $11. Oh well.

Umm... No. That is a conference tournament event. Is the gopher PA addressing that game? Because if memory serves me I believe the UND PA has had that job before. Regardless, you are failing to see the the lightheartedness of what happened. Yeah I guess my logic is flawed because I make a distinction between a harmless reference to a game two years ago and a political statement

Following your logic, the PA announcer is a classless jerk because of the way he emphasizes, "...Fighting Sioux scoooooring!!!," and merely recognizes the opponents' goal. You people need to lighten up

Has anyone noticed the Sioux throwback replicas with the Blackhawk style logo on EBAY??? They look pretty cheap, and I kinda wanna know where they are coming form. They are flooding the Sioux merch on ebay with them. They do look pretty flimsy and quite inaccurate, but they can go for cheap. I won one for $11. Just wondering if anyone knew what was up. I've been saying this all along now. 'Class' arguments are stupid. Yes there are instances when there is a legitimate reason for bring up a lack of class. I understand the family element to the atmosphere, but it is a COLLEGE event. I know that the Ralph has been taken over by the community for its commercial purpose, but come on, its hockey. It gets pretty lame, at the Ralph, and I know when I go up for my only game during the holiday break it will be lame. Take your children to the Thanksgiving and Christmas games if you are so concerned about profanity. From ages 6-9 I remember going to the fargodome and hearing chants about a certain ND team sucking "s***" I thought it was funny (obviously because I was a dumb kid who went to bison games), but I knew better than to repeat it.

Losing to such a s*** team at home has to hurt, and it'll sting until Dec 28
