I realize that many people take many different UND sports very seriously to one degree or another. No matter what happens during the transition and even long thereafter, I hope we can all promise to each other on here that we will NEVER do what bisonville is doing to Mertens and Bibeau. Being critical of a college athlete is one thing, but making personal attacks and even mentioning family members is completely out of bounds in my opinion.
Like I said, no matter what the future holds, I hope we can all make a promise NOT to do what they have done and are doing to Mertens and Bibeau all year at bisonville. I feel terrible for those kids to have to read that crap.

So is it safe to say that we will open next year at Texas Tech with Daggett, Anderson, Bamba, and Konrath at WR? Not a whole lot of experience there. Plus a new starting QB in Landry and we lose our 2 best olineman in Troen and Braegelmann. Should be interesting to say the least on offense.

I hear Drew Daggett's name getting called a lot on special teams this year. How can he and Chris Anderson not get a sniff on the playing field at WR? Anybody have any insight to that? I keep hearing good things about both of them, but they are never get any playing time.

It's always nice to hear the UND Fighting Sioux Marching Band and the "Pride of the North" playing the school song on road games.

I am from Grand Forks and I have no problem saying they should be embarrassed and ashamed for the attendance turnout at this game. I don't care if it was deer hunting opener or not. I also think marketing was sold short for this game by the athletic department and should have been started on weeks ago.

Regardless if I shoot my doe tomorrow or not, I will be at the game at 7 with bells on. I wouldn't miss this historical event for anything. The night kickoff ensures that I will be able to do both. Smart move by the athletic department.

Why are we even considering scheduling a school who potentially may be dropping their football program next year? I hope there is a contingency plan to replace them on the schedule with. Seems very risky to me given the timing and circumstance UND finds itself in. IMO, it shouldn't even be an option at this point. If true, this is the first time I will have questioned A.D. Faison and his decision making.

Well, it doesnt look like its going to get any easier for the Sioux D anytime soon either. Next week at SIU, then at home against a Southern Utah team who has put up 35 in the first half against Cal-Poly. Then we finish with a good USD offense. Should be interesting.

If you dont have video. no worries. The camera work is absolutely terrible. They are zoomed in on the players for every play so far.

So I think the pregame for the radio is an hour long right? Why doesnt the live audiocast on fightingsioux.com start an hour before as well? They ALWAYS start the online broadcast only a half hour before the game. Really annoying. Maybe I am wrong?

UND got a beat by a mediocre FCS team. It's not the end of the world, but comeback or no comeback, it's certainly not a moral victory. Clearly UND needs to get A LOT better in the secondary.
Part of me says you are right, but the other part of me says SELA might not be mediocre. I guess only time will tell. I heard they played Louisiana Tech really tough a couple weeks back.

No loss is ever good, but the boys showed HUGE character with the comeback. Very proud of the UND Fighting Sioux. The guys showed heart and didn't quit. Heal up now for two weeks and get ready for homecoming.
