Um ... what'll that "bottomless" soda or popcorn cost?
That’s the big question. If it’s $10 and under I am for that. If it’s like 30 bucks then forget it.

Fans will also be able to purchase refillable fountain soda (five concession stands) and refillable popcorn (eight concession stands), which will allow unlimited refills" for the duration of the game.
i like this especially with kids that suck down pop before the national anthem.

In an unrelated story, we apparently have a football team too.
It used to place in the top 3 every year.

You guys forget that RT chose to drop all scheduled meetings with NDSU in all sports in an attempt to hurt our transition to DI. In the end we had a very successful transition, I won't bore you with all the big wins. Your transition was less than successful by anyone's standard and you are still paying for your actions today. So yes UND did screw up but hey believe whatever you want.
We killed the series with the Jacks, but once we moved up we started playing again right away. USD killed the series with the Jacks but once they moved up they started playing right away. USD killed the Bison series but somehow Gene Taylor forgave the Coyotes, but still held a grudge against us. So it’s not 100% our fault.

How about we play for a sugar beet?
We’ll call it the Sugar Bowl.
Wait.... that’s been done
Just like the FBS created the Potato Bowl

Perhaps, but we'll never know will we? On the other hand, there's no doubt about who ended the rivalry game in the first place.
NDSU by gaining more scholarships and hurting UND’s playoff chances?

At this point you are correct. Why should we play at a smaller school for less money when you dont have to? Back then it was a totally different scenario. We were on the road alot during the transition. Remember we were willing to keep the series going. You werent. Nothing you can say changes that.
In the beginning you were willing to keep the series going, but were stubborn to even play us in football later on unlike SDSU who let things in the past stay In the past and do a home and home in 2010 and 2012. You guys had ties cut with USD at the same time we did, and yet you played them sooner in football than us.

NDSUs transition may not have been as successful since our 05-07 teams would have spoiled your seasons.
A loss to DII UND and Gene Taylor would have canceled the series.

Or you could have kept playing us and this never would have been an issue. Remember we didnt call the series off.
2005 FCS NDSU at DII UND?
2007 FCS NDSU at DII UND?
2009 FCS NDSU at DI transfer UND?
yeah that would’ve happen. To this date you guys don’t like to give up a home game to play a non FBS team.

Gosh, it looks like you guys are getting ready for a big group hug...Congrats!
Maybe your group can join our group and we can sing Kumbaya around a campfire.

Nice win, too bad they couldn’t do that last week, maybe it was a wake up call and we can play like this for the rest of the year. Go Hawks!!

If this team struggles against SDSU at home, there are major unresolved issues. NDSU swept them today.
This team is doing a great job against tough competition for a very young team.

BTW will the new video boards also be an asset to WIH?
It can show all the empty seats when the men aren’t playing, just like when they played.

Remind me again why the football team thinks it only needs the new logo on ONE side of their helmets...
I wish they wouldn’t, they need the logo on both sides.

I could wear my Bison Hockey T shirt, cause I like UND Football/Bison Hockey. That's acceptable, right?
Bison have a hockey team?

It's the only way we'll ever get a better logo. Don't buy or wear anything with the Ed Schaefer logo.
you could wear shirts with this guy on it instead.

If they think the logo on mid court will help their program, I would wonder how. If they think the logo mid court would look better, I agree. I also could care less one way or another because my focus would be on developing a successful winning program which can be done regardless of the logo or name. That is why programs over the years have won or lost regardless of the name or logo. The Betty needs a new scoreboard more than a log center court.
In the April 25 email, Kennedy includes quotes from men's basketball coach Brian Jones, women's basketball coach Travis Brewster, volleyball coach Mark Pryor, UND Licensing Coordinator Breanna Linert and others in support of a Fighting Hawks logo at center court.
"I am in favor of our new logo being on the floor in the Betty simply for the fact that it is our logo," Jones was quoted as saying. "To keep it really simple, it is who we are now. We need to turn the page and be a united front and all look the same."
Pryor added: "There is not one player on our roster anymore who has played for UND when we had no nickname, much less when we were the Fighting Sioux. Two NCAA tournaments later, we are absolutely the Fighting Hawks; we are damn proud of that, and it's time to move on."

I don’t need alcohol to watch hockey. I love to watch hockey from GF Central, UND, Fargo Force, to the Winnipeg Jets. One can be a fan of more than one sport, and yes it’s too bad that football can’t have more stuff like equipment and locker rooms, but that’s no reason to bash our hockey team or the sport itself.
