Does anyone know where the Sioux logo copyright stands at this time? I assume it's still owned by UND? If not, any 50 folks with a collective $1,500 could make this happen for those who want to hold onto the Sioux legacy...
How about "Sioux Sports" plates? With the minimum of 50 people, it would be $55 ($1500/50=$30, plus the plate fee) for a standard plate and $80 for a personalized one.
Shoot...shouldn't have said that. Bisonville will round up 50 folks to make their own plates now. Should only take them a day or two here:

I'm just hoping there's a "curse of the old Engelstad" that nobody knows about, and that once it's gone, we start winning national championships again.

Yeah...the place was a zoo. I only landed my green authentic because someone decided they didn't want it and laid it down next to my fiancee while she shopped. Good thing she grabbed it, it was my size!
We got there at 12:10 and walked straight in, but the jerseys were gone by that point and everything else was a mad rush. The line was snaked the whole way around the court of the Betty. We waited in line for about an hour.

I think it is incredibly important that the new conference stays at 8 teams or below. That will allow us to schedule more out of conference games with teams we care about (MN, UW, BC, Boston, etc.) Maybe that can help clean up some of the inflated ratings and opinions of east vs. west teams that have happened over the past few years. Plus, fewer teams means a higher chance at an auto-bid, less sharing of revenues and a higher chance of making the conference tournament.
ALSO: What is the official stance of the new conference on the Sioux nickname?
SIDEBAR: Will Derek Shepherd be joining the officiating staff? Or will the "we want Shepherd" chant be lost in history?

When can we start exhibitions against them?

Would love to see Eidsness stick around another year so Gothberg gets another year in the USHL, hopefully being "the guy".
According to Brian Faison, (I heard it from his mouth) Eidsness is graduating a year early, but will be back next year and in grad school.

And here I thought you were going to have information about Dave taking a gamble and changing the lines for tonight...

I happened to be near Brian Faison at the open practice today. He mentioned how highly he thinks of Trev Alberts. Hm. I suppose his only real interaction with UNO has been WCHA hockey...so perhaps I can cut him some slack.

Just saw this on Craigslist: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/tix/2306047533.html
"Hi there. I have an extra ticket to the Frozen Four games because a friend of mine couldn't make it. I could sell it here and make a few bucks, but I'd rather have someone cool to go with. And by cool, I mean single female. All I ask is that you are actually cheering for one of the teams in it. Bonus points if you are alumni of one of the schools. Double bonus points if you are still a student at the school (totally kidding). Triple bonus points if you like FOTC.
Anyway, why don't you send me a little about you?
Location: Lower Level - Close to Glass"
I'm not saying it's a good idea to meet a guy on Craigslist - but it is a cheap way in to the Frozen Four...
I know a few posters on here who could probably get by with a little makeup, a few Kleenex and a wig. Just an idea.

10) Watch all 56 episodes of Brad Miller Time
9) Wash/Dry Clean your jersey (unless non-washing is part of your ritual)
8) Commit the Sioux Shop inventory to memory
7) Dig up the first trolling post ever on SiouxSports
6) Commit the name & number of each player in the tournament to memory. Nobody likes an ill-informed heckler.
5) Check your tire pressures to ensure optimal fuel mileage on the drive to St. Paul
4) Taunt NDSU fans about _________ (really

I just hope the guy with the windsock shows up. He's their more wholesome version of "beer grandma".

It links to page 2 of the article. Not a big deal...but the correct link would be:

Don't know if anyone's posted this yet...but a friend of mine put it up on Facebook

I'll be there with two buddies in section 110, row 19!

Correct. I was in 110 for the title game and it was double attack end.
Good thing my seats are in 110!

How can we convice the NCAA of anything?

"One Alumni", why is this a news story?
It's a news story because (if you watch/read it) the reporter is using this example to question what racism is and if we are becoming overly sensitive to these matters in society today. I think it is a completely relevant topic and made for a great story.
-
I wouldn't pay more than face at this point; unless they are some stinkin great seats and you want them that badly. I picked up lower level tickets at face value off of Craigslist here in Minneapolis.

I'll keep you posted. Still intending to sell these as a pair if possible.
I'll e-mail you if we decide to use one and sell one.
