Exactly...the task force is NOT picking the name. Kelley is. Let's not get caught up in this task force and survey process. IMO it's a joke. I have little doubt Kelley has at most 3 names he will consider regardless of whatever this whole process hands out.

Then there really should be no concern of getting some lame a** nickname then? We should be able to take Sun Dogs, Pride, Spirit, Green and Ranibows off the table then. I for one feel better already...........

Someone will yell "racist" at some point if the word black is used as an adjective to any nickname chosen.

An injury is an injury and one can either play thru it or he/she can't. It shouldn't be situational is my point.

Let's face it...the nickname that is eventually chosen is going to border on pathetic on almost every level but most will say loyalty to the university thumps being genuinely embarrassed by the new nickname.

Agree...and the hockey is about as bad. Buffalo sucks although they resemble an NHL teamtonight. Guess west teams don't travel east well in hockey either like in the NHL.

I got plenty of beds in Peoria if and when UND heads to the desert to play ASU. Who's with me?!?! Couple it with a Coyotes and/or Cardinals game...throw in some Dillon's ribs...boom! Or hope they play the weekend before the Waste Management Open. Just giddy thinking about the possibilities.

Not sure where this should go so I thought I would stick it here.....my 3rd grade daughter came home from school today and said she now has a new student teacher in PE/gym for awhile. She said he is really nice and his name is Mr. Jensen. She then finished her conversation by saying she is wearing some of her UND clothes to school tomorrow!!!

I'm so confused with what has been happening w CastroOne in Fargo lately I have no clue if FSN+ is in our market. Anyone who lives in the F-M area and has cable understands. Midco can't get here soon enough!
