We are so PC hijacked as a society that the committee couldn't bring forth the 4 "best" candidates. To point 3..............................of the 4 this is a no-brainer.

I'd take someone who has stayed the course (WMU guy) vs. someone who is looking for greener pastures at every turn (Elliot) any day of the week. Elliot will be a train wreck and a short termer if she's the one chosen. There's a reason she is at UTSA and got bypassed for the AD spot.

............and Elliot hasn't been in one spot long enough to have done any of those.

Agree..................................but I guess we are all relying on the fact that with this selection committee of 74 people they actually got/selected the four best candidates that applied. The "best person for the job" in reality might even be one of these four.

My fear is he is hired and addresses someone at the Med School as Dr. Rosenpenis.............................................................

Well.......going with option #1 does open up the probability for a lot more people to get on a committee at UND at some point so there is that!
