  1. Was just thinking the same thing. Time for him to steal one!!
  2. At worst, it is a lateral move because Zajac wasn't giving us much night in and night out.
  3. Like Trupp with Kozek. Now if Miller could give us something, that line might be the difference tonight. But this is still a series that will come down to goalie play. Be on, JPL!!
  4. I'll insert my own segment: ...the Sioux get a couple wins...
  5. Interesting fact about DU that I saw: Undefeated when allowing 2 or less goals. Have NOT won when allowing 3 or more goals this year. Oshie hat trick tonight, Duncan tomorrow and Sioux sweep!!!
  6. Agree. That is why I think a split would be great. If anyone thinks that we're going to hang 7 or 8 in a game on DU at home, think again. Mannino is not Stalock.
  7. Is that to then also assume Martens is in and Forney is out again??
  8. Not suprising. He, along with Miller, have been big dissappointments so far. Both have good talent, but can't bring it during the game. Davidson, at worst, is a lateral move.
  9. He left the game in the 2nd with an injury to his right (throwing) elbow. The announcers summized it was kind of like "pitcher's elbow" and was carry over from a couple weeks ago from when he absolutely torched and shredded the Vikes!!!
  10. Trust me, I know what was "passed" since I deal with this crap all day long as takes time way from my patient care, but it was "Hillarycare" and her initiaves in 1993 that got this ball rolling down hill. And I'm not looking for a political debate on healthcare .
  11. Due to Hillary's great healthcare regs, i.e. HIPPA, not much can be revealed about a player's status. It was mentioned though by the media that "there is no structural damage" to Genoway's lower leg following an MRI prompting me to believe it is some type of bad sprain to the knee (or ankle), especially if the reports are true that he still is having difficulty bearing weight on that leg. Having seen this team play at the Ralph every game this year, he is unfortunatley one of 4 or 5 players UND can ill afford to go down with an injury for an extended period of time.
  12. Kind of like that arcade game at Chucky Cheese where you bang the Gopher on the head as he pops out of his hole with a big mallet??
  13. Believe I read that UND is 10-3-1 in their last 14 games vs. DU in Denver. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Each season is different, but that gives hope that they can and have played well there recently.
  14. Better to have this kid walk on then have a walk out like AG on the team. Very cool story.
  15. 2 sweeps!? And both at home!?
  16. Just 2 subpar games and a 6-4-1 record so far indicate one of two things. 1) This team was somewhat overrated to start the year and/or 2) The teams we have played so far are not too bad in relative terms. Agree these next 4 games are HUGE for it only being Nov./Dec. At least a split at DU leads to a sweep of the Gophs and away we go...
  17. This series, in my poinion, will affect the next 2 home series. If UND gets at least a split, and I think it will be tough, I think we rebound and take at least 3 of 4 from UM and UNH. If we get swept, I think home splits the next 2 series and we are a .500 club at the end of Dec. Fri. DU 4-2 Sat. UND 4-3 I just got a hunch we get at least 1 win this weekend and then we come home and SWEEP the Gophs!!

    UND v GVSU

    First part--yes. Second part--still not sure .

    UND v GVSU

That's a tough call because when we were up 103-0 at half vs. Humbolt, I really never had a sense we had control of the game.
  20. Depends on how one uses it?!
  21. You got it! Jeanotte and Co. lead the charge from UND's side and His Horse Is Thunder is as clueless as many of our "white" politicians! This is purely political, make no mistake about it. It is not an issue of what is best and what is desired by the NA population as a whole.
  22. Why is that? Are one of those that has a face for radio or these message boards?? Don't sell yourself short!
  23. Read lots of your posts. Kudos to you for being a "glass half full" guy. When you see them play live, like this weekend, it is quite disturbing. No jump, no urgency, no intensity. You put TJ, Dunc, Chorney on the ice to start the game on Sat, with all the other talent on this team, vs. UMD and lay an egg is disturbing...not postal worker disturbing, but disturbing none the less
  24. Bags full of guilt or disappointment??
  25. Didn't play real well on Friday, but the dam broke on UMD in the 3rd. JPL wasn't real sharp on Fri. either. So UND wins a game handily when they weren't sharp in any phase--the PP looks pathetic. So then they come out Sat. with no real jump and play less than stellar again. They did have their moments Sat. and got a jump after tying it at 2. They looked stronger 4 on 4, but a bounce killed them when it shouldn't have come down to that. UMD, is at best when it is all said and done, a 5 or 6 team in the WCHA. This was a series sweep UND should of had. Now again we are talking about the second half surge. To me anything less than 4 wins in the next 6 games will not set up well for the second half or Pairwise. A split this weekend at worse and then get 3 out of 4 at home vs. UM and UNH.
