  1. Alright, Sioux get PP chance with 4:13 remaining, let's make the most of it boys.
  2. This is getting a bit ridiculous. Someone needs to chew some butt and lite a damn fire.
  3. I don't know if I'd go that far....well, yeah, maybe I would.
  4. I agree, CC does look like the better team. Sioux just don't have the jump.
  5. They look flat to me, have been kind of standing around. We have put pressure on in spurts in the second and this period, but not like CC. We look almost tired. CC is taking it to them pretty hard.
  6. CC Scores 3-3 a couple minutes into the third.
  7. End of 2. 3-2 UND shots on net 21 for CC 17 for Sioux.
  8. Not a problem, I will keep them coming for you when something happens. Right now Sioux are actually putting some decent pressure on, so that is cool.
  9. 3-2 UND leads, CC score with extended pressure in the zone. UND needs to get some pressure going now, lopsided period thus far.
  10. 3-1 Sioux, with 12:57 to go in second period
  11. Not only does the camera work suck, but it would be nice to be able to hear a whistle when it blows. Nice to see the game at least, beggars can't be choosers, but you would think it would be a bit better quality.
  12. Not going to get too in depth here, but yeah, getting a bit tired of Bredahl talking up CC and kind of downplaying the fact that at this point, the Sioux are up 3-0 and have killed 2 CC powerplays. I understand that he is probably going for the "unbiased" approach, but in my opinion he is going too far to the other side of it. Not real impressed thus far with him tonight. On the other hand, SIOUX ROCK!!! So far so good, lots of hockey left though, but they boys are looking like they showed up to play some hockey. Anybody else think that Olympic size ice doesn't seem right for the college game? It just looks too big for the size and skill of college of hockey. Not saying college players suck by no means, just saying that it seems a bit big for the game.
  13. That is pretty funny. Nice touch
  14. Yeah, I know, wishful thinking on my part I suppose. They do have a lot invested in Leclaire, but you never know what can happen. It would still be cool to see him come up for a game or two just for fun and giggles and see what he has to offer the big boys.
  15. Good to see Karl playing well and proving he can play at a higher level than college. I would love to see him get a chance at some backup time with the Jackets after the All-star break to see what he can do with the big boys. No chance of him taking over for Marc Denis anytime soon, but I have not been impressed with what Labbe has done, plus, it would just be cool to see Karl in the NHL.
  16. If Bismarck has Midcontinent Cable service it will be on the channel they normally televise the home games on, not sure what channel that would be in Bismarck.
  17. Great information PCM, thanks. I was reading the comment you wrote on the MVP thread about how the Notermann-Lundbohm-Massen line will be important this weekend against CC. I couldn't agree more. This line could really take the pressure off of Bochenski-Parise-Fylling. You know going in that CC will key on that line for obvious reasons. I really think the second line will get some great chances and have a great series. Notermann has been playing solid lately and Lundbohm is quietly in the top 10 scoring in the nation. These guys go out there and work hard night in and night out. I expect them to have a great weekend. For me, the key to taking this series as far as lines contributing, is the Spiewak line. Ryan Hale works his butt off on the ice and McMahon has the grit to get in there and disturb some things. I think those two out there with Spiewak and his speed and the way he has been burying chances this year, will be a tough line to contend with and could put the Sioux over the top. When you look at the line combo's that PCM gave, the Sioux could legitimately get quality scoring from all 4 lines, that would obviously be tough for any team to contend with, considering very few teams have the defensive depth the Sioux have. Can't wait for the games. Go Sioux!!!
  18. First time poster, but long time Sioux hockey fan---so please be gentle I am gonna give my nod right now to either Bochenski or Notermann. I feel these two have had great seasons for the Sioux and they really contributed and picked up the slack when Zach was the WJC. Don't get me wrong, Parise is a stud and in no way is he undeserving of MVP status, but to me these two guys have really stepped it up for the Sioux. This is just a really tough question right now. One could make an argument for the entire D core of the Sioux. Wow, have those guys stepped it up and played some solid hockey this year.
