Brian Lee scored his first NHL goal tonight! I am happy he his doing well at the next level. I know there was a lot of criticism of him by fans at UND, but I still feel he will be successful in the NHL. Time will tell, but I think he was greatly under appreciated at the college level, as a lot of good NHL players are.

I think if he hasn't at least seen some interest from the Senators he would have said he was coming back by know. Okay thanks for clearing that up for me.

Do you really think he is going to stay because he wont be offered a contract? If Lee or Toews stay it because they chose to stay. He might not get the cap like Toews, but I have to believe he has already seen an offer.

It's a prediction, but I'll post one in a week or two when he signs.

Its been a great game. Dallas has looked very strong ever since giving up that fourth goal in the third period. I look for them to end this game early in the third OT.

I too think that Lee will be gone after this year. He can't seem to do anything right when it comes to the fans. If he comes back next year I think he would have to put up 40 points to please all the fans here. I know everyone thinks he should be able to handle all the criticism but he is only 20 years old. That being said, if he leaves it will not be because of any fans. Every high profile athlete has dealt with criticism to a certain level. You can't please everyone, and I think he knows that. If and when he goes it will be because its time for him to move on. I would think he is more upset about a decrease in playing time and being polled from the PP then anything a fan could ever say about him.

I agree with that. He had a great year and it couldn't have happened to a better guy. Sometimes during the year I thought he gave too much credit to Toews and Oshie and that would hurt him in the hobey vote, but I guess not.

Yeah, he is third in point for defensemen behind Bina and Chorney, and second in plus minus for defensemen behind Bina. I really thought he played the best defense of all the Sioux defensemen in the NCAA tourny, but he did struggle at times during the season.

I believe he will go play in the AHL next year. Why would he stay in a system that doesn't seem to be improving him any and in a place that a large part of the fan base doesn't seem to like him? I hope he stays he played very well in the NCAA tourny. I hope they all stay, but that is just my opinion on it.
