i was so happy to hear that Sejna won it! it just goes to show what kind of players play in the WCHA...the nations best!! of course, the other 2 were great players to and dave leneveu (sp) has just amazing numbers, but Sejna totally deserved this award! glad to see the WCHA have such outstanding players!

gee thanks for clearing that up...this is hockey?? who knew!? i was just saying i don't like how they play. i just don't like them...do i respect them and what they've done this season?? yeah i guess. do i like them and how they play??? no, not really. do i like their style of play?? ummm, not really because to me, it seems that they will play dirty hockey.

from what i could tell...UNH plays dirty hockey....i didnt get to see the game, but i saw highlights and stuff, and i don't like UNH. i watched the game when the Gophers tied UNH earlier in the season, and i really, really don't like how they play. i hope the gophers kick their butts, and send them home w/o a championship. but i think that the Gophers will come out stronger saturday than they did today, because now they have all some experience, and i don't think they want to get caught behind 2-0 again, especially with Ayers in net.

what do you expect when you're #1 seed?

i'm not saying that all the penalties should not have been called, because lets face it...they should have.....but i'm merely commenting that if they Gophers had not have taken those penalties, they could have won! and not tied the lowly mavericks, who are not so lowly anymore to the Gophers!

i'm just saying, the gophers could have won and not tied, if they hadnt taken those penalties.....and as a neutral observer, you probably really wouldnt care if he called them or not. is it really that hard to understand?

mavs scored their goals on the PP....friday they were both scored on 5x3. they got lucky because the gophs took the penalties, and anderson called them...although saturday, when vanek was doing his wrap-around goal.....i saw him get slashed pretty good..but it wasnt called....the bounces this weekend went to MSU....not the Gophers. and i think Anderson needs to be fired or given to Hockey East or something!!! and not just because of this weekend, but also because he couldnt officiate even if his life depended on it.

i say the mavs got LUCKY this weekend!! yeah, anderson made bad calls both ways, and not just against the gophers, but if it wasnt for the PP, i bet minnesota would have swept!

no matter what, the Gopher women have been playing D-1 and have been playing in the WCHA since they've been around!!! its going to be a few years until the Suzzies beat the Gophs!!! (like 20-30)
