  6. Gophers go up 3-1 over SCSU with 50 seconds left in the first period.
  7. Minnesota goes up 2-1 on St. Cloud. Bobby G isn't looking too good.
  8. Denver's Mullen thinks he scores, celebrates and play goes on as he misses. Now they're reviewing the play. EDIT: It's no goal.
  9. Wow. Paukovitch just pasted a Wisconsin player. Legally, I might add.
  10. Cornell is up 1-0 over Harvard. Check that: Now it's 1-1.
  11. Huskies go up 1-0 over Minnesota.
  12. I've got SCSU at Minnesota, Denver at Wisconsin and Harvard at Cornell (Goon's favorite) on TV. Anyone who want's to post scores and updates can do it here.
  13. I agree that it is a good sign. As much as the NCAA wants to make the case about the morality of the Fighting Sioux nickname, it appears that it will be about the law as long as Jahnke's the judge.
  14. I'm surprised that nobody pointed out this statement from [url="http://www.in-forum.com/articles/index.cfm?id=145719
  15. I guess we'll be in the same boat. I plan to be there with my kids, who I will encourage to be loud on my behalf.

    Chopping wood?

I'd like to add my congratulations to JFR and Rutgers. What a season for the Scarlet Knights!
  17. Someone had to do it. But didn't you read the NCAA's brief? Myles claims UND is violating the 1st Amendment rights of NCAA members. Oh, the irony! Rememeber all the arguments we had on this board about whether there were any 1st Amendment rights issues in this case? So, as it turns out, North Dakota doesn't make any such arguments, but the NCAA does.
  18. I told you I set up a wi-fi network. Where do you think it was?
  19. I believe that was Brian Canady, not Rory McMahon.
  20. KNOX just had a quote from Judge Jahnke assuring both sides that he wouldn't issue a knee-jerk decision. He's going to go over the briefs and do some independent research on the legal issues. Sounds like everything's done for today.
  21. Do you know how to scroll up?
  22. Based on what Doug Barrett just said on KNOX, Judge Jahnke wants to study the briefs and do some research on his own. Barrett said no decision will be made today. Attorneys for North Dakota brought up the argument that FSU could play here with its chants and imagery and UND couldn't use its name and logo. Barrett said he saw two people protesting. There may have been more there earlier. Caller said he only saw two protestors. A caller said there were 10-15 protestors outside the courthouse around 9:30 a.m. Some might have gone inside to watch the proceedings.
  23. KNOX news: Judge Jahnke said he would issue a ruling as soon as possible. There was no information as to what that that means. It sounds as if the hearing is over, but the news report didn't come right out and say that. There were quotes from Stenehjem and the NCAA's attorney. They didn't say much we haven't heard before. Stenehjem said the harm to UND would be greatest to its athletes who have earned the right to a home playoff game. The NCAA attorney said its policy came from the organization's core principle promoting an atmosphere of dignity and respect in an environment free from racial discrimination.
  24. General cluelessness?
