I would expect su posters to give it to us. It does/has go both ways. I am disappointed with the news. Not to expect some to capitalize on the news to give grief isn't being realistic. Whatever doesn't hurt me.

Huff is a great player. He can do so many things well. The three might not be his strong point. UND might be better if he passed every now and then as he draws the triple team. That said, it sure is fun watching him drive and create and draw the fouls.

su fans have a need to feel superior. They have great fan base with many things to feel good and proud about. but many of them are scared as hell about UNDs success. They know that eventually UND would be as successful as them. Even overtake them. As this plays out expect SOME of them to get worse.

You guys are all a lot smarter and follow much closer than I do. Seems like all we have to do is go hard to the basket and we will be successful. The part we aren't doing is after someone draws a double or triple team is to find the open man and dish. If fouled we need to shoot a high free throw percentage. I am still not overlyconfident on our outside shooting ability. I haven't seen yet a reason we should be trying to isolate our big guys. Maybe they have moves and the ability?? Defense is a huge concern. Our bigs don't seem like they can stop close to the basket. Again, what do I know but it seems like the effort is there?? Do you see any players not working on defense?

Any insights on the technicals. I was listening to the Oregon announcers. They didn't say much. I was kind of impressed that Jones got one. I don't have any idea how many he has gotten as the UND coach but my impression is that he thought we were getting the short end pretty bad.

I could have asked if UND fans are classier than su fans. I know most su fans consider themselves classy. When does giving each other a good ribbing cross to being a jerk. Looking back in college (early 80s) I would consider what I did then to be a jerk. I would hope that as a person gets older there is less of this. Looking around now though I see many older fans that I would consider to be boarder line either great fans or some would say they have crossed into the jerk category.

Just wondering. How do you draw the line between good, classy, enthusiastic fans and fans that go overboard and are jerks? Can you be a good fan and sit for the whole game and not scream and holler? What make a fan classy? Personally, I don't do a lot of screaming at games. Used to but that has long ago come and gone. As a whole,do you consider UND fans to be classy? I hear there were some fans at the Boston hockey game that didn't represent very well? I know every fan base has these. Are UND fans welcoming to fans from other teams?

As far as football,yea it might be decades(it won't be decades) but it might be in four or five years too. UND will get their act together. that said - su is very tough in football. enjoy while you can. living in Fargo I know how much support football has. Many of su fans are even pretty cool about it. I am very happy UND won the bb game. It does matter to me. Judging on all the activity and comments from su fans it mattered to su as well. You can say it doesn't matter but you posting here shows it did bother you at least a little. So, you need to go back to 2010. that seems a little convenient. gotta admit that UND has done very well these past few years. even if you are willing to admit only that we are even since 2010 that is still pretty impressive for UND with the good guys getting more and more of the upper hand. There is excitement in what is happening at UND with many of the programs. I guess I am one that doesn't think UND is better except for maybe volleyball, womens and men's basketball, and probably soccer . su is no longer looking for UND in the rear view mirror - more like drivers window and front windshield

I am one those UND graduates living in Fargo. I welcome MIDCO with open arms. This probably means that CableOne will change their mind and broadcast more UND games next year. Win Win

I guess we will just have to wait to find out. I have heard from others that same type of opinion about how Jacobson will do. He is a hard worker and has a lot of pride. What you said could be said about most 1st year players. I think you are underestimating him but we'll see how things play out. Go Sioux

There is talk at su about redshirt AJ Jacobson. I have seen him play at least 50 times. He would be a driving draw the foul machine. I bet he would average 13-15 free throws a game. I am interested if he plays this year. I think Saul will feel a little pressured on this. I think su would be a better team because AJ is so good at going to the basket.

I honestly think that su will do just fine. They do have a good team. It appears the new hand checking memo wasn't read by su. They think that it was the difference even though the fouls were about even. Some su fans comfort themselves by saying the game doesn't matter to them but the number of upset su fans seem to tell the real story.

Had to wait for a while but Bisonville finally figured it out that it was UND's superbowl and that is why we won. Happens every time. The su boys just have a tough time giving UND a whole lot of credit. Lose to UND and you suck. I guess I shouldn't expect it..

Exactly all you have to do is go hard to the basket and refs are calling fouls. We are at our best when we are aggressive to the rim. Keep doing it and make free throws and we win.
