Whoever said that POI probably favors Vanek is correct. But we aren't on crack and don't think he is the best player in the country. Heck, he's not even the best player in the WCHA. Peter Sejna is. It's one thing to be a homer, but dang, put down the crackpipe.

As with the SCSU-Gophers game, bertibm and myself will put together a team of Gophers. You can email bertibm at Jerred.Kline@prodigy.net . He is making the roster for our team and I think he mentioned getting the ice so you wouldn't have to.

Our intramural season should be finished by the Final Five weekend. I think that would be a great time to play this possible game. But again, it was my idea, but I am not organizing it!!!! It was hard enough to organize some of the icetimes with just POIers, I'll let someone else take a shot at it this time

Just throwing out an idea here... On POI we are organizing a game between Gopher fans and St Cloud State fans. The Huskies are having a hard time finding people who can both a.) play hockey and b.) operate a computer. I thought maybe the Sioux would be able to put a 10-man/woman roster together to challenge our Gophers team at some point. Btw, I don't want to organize this, just thought it might be fun

I am one of those guys Greyeagle is talking about, knowing Chad and having classes with him because we are both majoring in Finance. He is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and that makes it so easy to pull for him. Anyways, when we were at the game, just a minute after Chad scored his goal I said out loud "I wonder who the first moron will be to mention how it doesn't really count." Not sure if you heard me Greyeagle, you were a few seats away, but I know a couple of POIers did. Then I get home from the game and open up that thread and Chad's goal was already being discounted in the second post in that thread, and by a Sioux fan no less. I was a bit ticked off by it to say the least, but I don't run POI and therefore had nothing to do with U2Bad's being removed. I guess the only other thing I can say at this point would be a suggestion to any fans who are on another team's site, and that's be careful of what you say because your audience doesn't necessarily care for your two cents. I would never come on here to say anything to discount the accomplishments of a particular Sioux player, especially if it was someone in a similar situation to Chad.
