  1. Been a long time since I responded to anything on this message board. Do you think with talk of a few Mountain West teams leaving in a few years for the PAC, that openings for more FCS schools will happen. If the MWC loses 3 teams, they could add 5 or 7 new schools over time and create a football conference for the top of Big Sky/MVFC football schools. UND, IMO, has a great young coach and will make a run at the MVFC title this year as long as the coach is there. I can see several of these schools talking within, on the possibility of going FBS. Some may already be deep into the discussion.
  2. Thanks
  3. You've been reading Bisonville, I don't think they are close yet on who and what.
  4. Still reads to me, that the staff member did not directly hand the substance to Robbins, but it was provided by the staff member. That makes Larsen and Lori Robbins correct. Kolpack added: The university denies the supplement came from a staff member. His mother, Lori Robbins, said a “trusted program staff member” provided a pre-workout powder that contained an illegal substance or substances. NDSU athletic director Matt Larsen said Robbins “got it from another student-athlete.” He didn't elaborate.
  5. I've heard most of the story, and I'm not going to repeat any of it until it comes out from either Robbins or NDSU.
  6. He didn't say it was supplied by a student athlete, said he got it from a student athlete, who may have passed it down the line to Robbins, from the original staff member.
  7. I would say Larsen's quotes were written my lawyers, Robbins family not so much, even though Grandpa is a lawyer.
  8. My view from reading everything and working with legal beagles every day, is that it was not given to Robbins as a "supplement", or it was not labeled by the NCAA as a supplement. Larsen said the staff does not supply supplements. I've heard a lot of rumors, and until there is more evidence or a quote by a NDSU or a Robbins, they are just rumors.
  9. I see the attempt at a joke, weak, but still an attempt on your part. Keep trying buddy, I'm rooting for you.
  10. Really, I'm not going to try and explain jokes on this board again. Do some research young Hawk.
  11. Brock Robbins is more popular than UND/Denver hockey, who'd of thunk.
  12. ..........and if you don't get a seed, you can buy a first round home game.

    2016 Season

Congrats Sioux, on your first FCS playoff appearance.
  14. UND had 2 quality wins, WIU had 3 and took 3rd place in the MVFC with wins over UNI and SDSU, also beat EIU(at team should not be in the playoffs instead of UND).
  15. I don't think UND should get in over WIU, Both resumes are good enough for playoffs. EIU is the big question mark, not wins over playoff teams.
