The stupidity of some in the ND Legislature is stunning. Actually I find myself wondering if it is stupidity, out of control egos, or a combination of both. After the people told the Legislature to go to hell by voting down the dissolution of the SBOHE, I had hoped that they would reign in the stupidity of micro-managing Higher Education.

Obviously if the Bison had a couple losing seasons in a row it would take a toll on attendance. But....probably not half like some on here would like to think. Tailgating has become and event in and of itself and there are a lot of fans that enjoy that as much as going to the game. I think the tailgate will help attendance a lot when we have down years. UND need to take note.......

I honestly think if NDSU had lost another regular season game and had to go on the road, this could be a very different story. Road games are tough. A road game in Frisco is not a hostile environment.....so if the Bison go to the title again....I suspect playing in Frisco will help the Bison.

I am eating some crow this year. I didn't think the Bison would make it this far after so many graduated. They seem to be putting it together when needed.

Coastal was quite a bit better than I expected but I really think that ISU-r is the only team that can knock off NDSU.
I was quite impressed with the resilience of the NDSU offense on Saturday. Wentz is very athletic.
But, that was one of the few games the Offense got pretty cranked up. I think we have a good shot at making the finals..... But the game on Friday sure is no give me.

Yeah, there is so much animosity toward the Big Sky and UND in Fargo, it wouldn't bother Teammakers a bit to stay in FCS while the Big Sky schools (EWU, Griz, Cats, UND, etc) go FBS with Idaho.

I am fine with where the Bison are in the polls. They got piss pounded by UNI. So..... Get back on the horse and ride. The Playoffs are coming and the Bison are in no matter what happens these next two games.

The amount of penalties was a killer too..... Not a disciplined performance at all.

I agree. Last week I would have said I agree 100% and thought they would roll everyone on the way to #4 in a row. Now, I agree about 80%.
However, the UND tolerance level is getting lower and lower. We expect to be at the same level as FU. That's a lot to ask, but that is what we expect.
The Herd has to get the slow starting offense figured out. If not, no way does this team go to Frisco.

So, who's #1 in the FCS poll this week?
I think the Bison drop to 4 or 5. UNH and CC for sure will be higher.

Didn't Bisons fans say they could take down half the Big 10? That 3 points against UNI is proof of that. Lol!!!!!!

How can you expect a coach to turn it around in one year? That is Mussman's team on the field. Let Bubba recruit for a couple years and then see where the team is at.

You should worry more about people jumping off of bridges in Fargo; that water is pretty cold this time of year. A 20 point loss to UNI should cool down all that FBS talk for at least a week.

Good grief...... Talk about thread drift. Let's just give up on comparing dick length until we are actually going to play each other. Right now UND is in a hell of a hole and NDSU is riding the top of a huge wave. No one has a clue where either school will be when we play. Why not just argue about the polls....

You guys are precious. Remember the Mid-80s? (probably not since most Bison "fans" these days couldn't recall 2008, let alone the 80's)
But the gap was as big as it possibly could have been in 1985-88.
Hey......I was in undergrad school in the 80s......and as of yet have no signs of dementia...so I remember those days.

Were UND to roll out three wins against Montana State, Montana, and EWU this year, oh yeah, it'd be noticed.

What will be interesting in this game is to see how the UND defense performs. It seemed that EWU defense was non-existent last weekend against the Cats. While your offense is questionable, the D is obviously improved. This game seems to be the first good test for the defense. The D wins game and can make up for some of the weakness on offense.

Any TV or streaming on this one? I would rather watch FCS than some random power 5 team. And this game will be a heck of a lot closer than when Michigan State gets a hold of Wyoming this weekend.

Actually, I'm viewed as kind of a Bison football apologist around these parts...wasn't being pissy at all...just something I noticed this morning that some Bison fans get up pretty early in the morning to see what's going on over here...

Half the MVFC in the top 20.
That makes conference play look pretty tough for the Bison. I think it will be very difficult to go undefeated again.

Muss took UND football to a pretty dark place. It will take a few year's to undo what Muss had done. Bubba is dealing with the players Muss left. From the penalties... he still might have some discipline issues too.
