im sure if there was any possibility at all the news would be reporting on it. this is just one guys "dream". only one person, maybe 2 have talked about it. give me a credible source where someone thinks this will happen or wants it to happen...

When its all said and done, National Championships speak more than Nickel Trophies or what you did for 10 or 15 years. NDSU's dominance in the 80s was far more dominate than und has ever been in any decade.

no, mplsbison, another stupid and idiotic idea from you. there is no reason for 2 ND schools to go to MN and play a football game...if the alumni there really want to see the game, they will drive 3 hours this way rather than us going there...

yeahh..so i know this isn't ND but Fox News at 9 here in Fargo made a tiny mistake....as you know Rosseu (sp?) and Warroad are playing tonight and they said that it was 6-0...Warroad. Then they made the correction at the end saying that actually Rosseu was up 8-0. Just a little different because the teams are so equal hahahaha

I'm guessing you're talking about the RR game? Because during the Grafton/South game Ian Powers for South was about to just rock a grafton player to his ass but the refs moved him away in time to stop it.

And I have a question for HockeyHigh why do you have to be bashing RR all the time. Just because your a South fan and RR is better at hockey doesn't mean you have to be knocking them all the time. On the MinnHock website I saw you pop up and post some dumb remark on the Roseau/RR game and just laughed. Where you at that game? RR didn't choke they got robbed by a terrible call.
This is true, south did not play to their caliber tonight. Seemed to be a lot of power plays for grafton as well with south having 2 guys in the box a couple times...
Oh, and thank you, forgot about Wrestling and Soccer as well....

Games to look forward to before state.
Should be an entertaining game tomorrow, and can't wait to watch two quality teams.
and not to post 3 straight times i'll reply to the sophmore class for South. What i was getting at was that our sophs now are, well, "Soft". meaning that they aren't as big and bulky as the players above them. Josh Hooey and Scotty Bucholtz are soph starting for south this year and they haven't even been starting the entire year. It will be interesting to see if Wilson puts Scotty in goal against Grafton tomorrow night.

First of all, South will be the dominant team? What about Grafton and their very talented junior class? South has a VERY good class of sophmores? Why is it that they have combined for apprx 16 pts on the season? Must be VERY good. Red River as a school is overrated? Please elaborate. If they dont win state tennis this year, i guess nine state titles in a row is'nt good.....ooo wait. But hey, overall great post.
Football? Volleyball? Track? Golf? Basketball? X-Country? As a whole, RR clearly has 2 sports to go by..tennis and hockey.
*I should have said RR ATHLETICS as a whole. Thats my bad

I believe the score was 5-2 and south was outplayed most of the game....so you better check your facts and rethink before you type anything again
8 or so minutes into the 3rd is when rr scored. One goal was on an empty net. the other was of course legit. Were you at the game? Did you see them play or just the highlights on the news? RR is the best team in ND, maybe MN...but that doesn't mean that they can't be beat.
Our goalie that game was a SOPHMORE starting his 3rd game this season....and trust me, south may not get it this year, but next year and that year after SOUTH will be the dominant team in ND. Our sophmore class this year is VERY good, have been playing since grade school and give them a year full in the gym and it will be very fun to see them every home game at the colliseum.
btw, RR as a school is overrated. Hockey and Tennis...congrats....and even the tennis team isn't a clear shot at winning state next year

I was at the South vs rr game tonight at the Colliseum. It was tied 2-2 going into the 3rd with red river scoring at the 10 min mark if i remember right. riders ended up winning 4-2 but there was more to this game than the score. It showed that rr isn't invincible and can be beaten by a team other than Roseau....don't give the title to the riders just yet,

umm...everyone has to say that SIU is the much better job. Come on guys, Lennon doesn't have to wait 4 years to make the playoffs. He can go next year.

2005-2006 was a pretty remarkable team. One of the most talented I've known of, but I wouldn't consider them a 'Dream Team'.
And soohockey, don't be so irritable about someone talking about a good team outside of Grand Forks, believe it or not, it does happen.

OOPS! They just "lost" a caller from Breckenridge (Sid with his finger on the button: "I know where that was heading!"
) and they dumped a whole phone bank of callers to go to a segment about the Wild. Sid to Brewster: "North Dakota is going Division I someday..." (Apparently FCS doesn't qualify as division I in Sid's eyes) THIS IS KILLING ME! 
I don't think he would go to Nebraska because they just treated him like crap with making him the scape goat. why would Coach Bohl go to a team that may be worse than the team he is coaching?? Money can't be the only thing in that guys mind.

Basically it boils down to this.....(and this isn't an excuse, I HATE the football team)
The BEST TEAM IN NDSU HISTORY (and they'll probably not see a team like this for another 10-15 years after the coaching staff is picked apart and recruiting takes a step backwards) beat THE WORST TEAM IN UMN HISTORY. You take a BAD defense, then take away their three best players (read sexual assult before the season and Brewster doing the only acceptable thing and cutting the players immediately), and you get a group of 11 players that have absolutely no business being on a Big Ten field.
Have a good playoff run Bison......oh wait........
