this is EXACTLY the problem.. band director dosent know crap about football, and the whoever is in control of the sounds system knows less.  cant believe Bubba hasnt said anything about this.  it literally cost us more than one false start

The band director was a drum major at Oklahoma and is from Oklahoma I think he might now something about football.

So I am not able to watch the game live because of kids sports all day.

If anyone else is in that spot, ESPN says they repost the games 90 minutes after they end.

ESPN app will be live too

My freshman year of college. Had a blast at the game and was in the band. If I recall they were missing a pretty high caliber player, and if I really stretch my brain I feel like he didn't pass a drug test of something.

Definitely loud, and was pretty excited that we got to take the trip to Alabama after the win. Great experience as a freshman, just too bad we couldn't beat Grand Valley.

I remember that game. The coaches didn’t figure out they could move the benches away from the student section. Until the second half. So they’d be yelling and the students would be yelling louder.

Initially, then my mother found out.....LA here we come.....  Nice part is that people apparently get married at 10 AM in the morning in California, so by the time we get to game time me and my old man should be able to get a stream somehow.

Hopefully it’s not one of those all day things.  Last wedding I was invited to out there the wedding was at 10 but then the wine train to the reception left at 12 and didn’t come back until 10.

I missed the second half of ISU game having to take a trip to Fargo from the Bemidji area. I learned their was no way to pickup the UND game on the radio until getting KFGO signal just east of Detroit Lakes. Meanwhile, I was able to get the NDSU game on three separate channels at one point.

Seems a significant gap in coverage.

Also the ads of NDSU radio broadcast are painful. Everything was agriculture products..know your audience I suppose.

You should have had 96.1 the whole way from bemidji. My parents lake is about half way between Fargo and Bemidji came in on both clear as day.

You can always do it, but the economics have to make sense. Occasionally a bit of ego, too. I'm sure in this case, the economics said three shorter buildings were cheaper than two taller buildings. Now if they needed the same amount of square footage but had a smaller lot to work with, maybe they would have gone up. But they had the space to build three, so that made sense to them.

It's really the RRV city sprawl debate in miniature. Because it's expensive to build up, and land is basically flat for a 25 mile radius, it's always cheaper for businesses to expand the footprint of the city instead of increasing the density. But increasing the density is cheaper for the city in the long run because it means less infrastructure and fewer police and fire stations. It's why property tax incentives for downtown redevelopment make financial sense for cities like GF or Fargo. Every business that relocates to an area that has preexisting infrastructure, instead of building on a site that forces the city to extend the infrastructure, saves the city money.

As for the width of the clay section, I believe around GF it runs from Red Lake Falls, MN to Turtle River State Park(just beyond the AFB). About 55 miles.

Yep, that’s why there are sand and gravel mines just east of crookston it’s the ancient eastern beachhead.

    Idk

I've seen people saying its a good move because no one knows that Dixie State is in Utah and aligns them more with schools in Utah. Then the one's, like me, that wondered why it was called Dixie State to begin with and think its an good move. Then you have the ones claiming "wokeness" and hate all change.

That was the excuse given for dropping Trojans and going to eagles at Crookston.  To align with the other UM campuses.

Hak is obliged to help Philly because ... ... ... ?

And if Hak is making moves to harm PHI, instead of help SEA, he's making mistakes.

Because it’s philly. Always a half step behind New York and if Pittsburgh is good at something they aren’t it’s even worse.
