IMHO, the Minnesota rule rocks. I fail to see how people can lose sleep over it. Just because Minn gets special treatment, its good for the league and doesn't really help them any so whats the big deal? Honest question, if there was a rule for UW or DU instead of Minn, would it really bother people as much? I tend to think not.

we have a 5 point lead over UW so if we are forutnate enough to sweep UW cannot catch us no matter what they do the rest of the way.
I know. But if we were only to split this weekend and DU got swept but UW swept, they would be 3 behind with a chance to gain 4 on us. Then the race is between us and them. Thats why it is possible to clinch with a split but it takes into account what UW does.

we sweep and du gets swept we win the cup this weekend as that would put them 4 points back with 1 game left to play vs CC
or
we sweep and they get 1 point creating a 3 point lead with DU having 1 game left with max of 2 wcha points so the sioux win title
or
we sweep and they split creating a share of the cup no matter what the sioux do in uw and if du beats cc
not saying whats goig to happen by any means but throwing it out there as DU only has 1 game left after this weekend to get more points and you never know

sioux sweep and the sioux truly control their own destiny but we all know how tough cc and uw are so not a easy task
Don't forget we can clinch if we split, DU gets swept, and UW takes 2 or less.

I'm not afraid of a grinder on the front lines. I'm excited to see what we get from Mr. Davidson.
He did get a goal at Tech, if I recall correctly. I think he can fill in very nicely. I think he is a pretty well rounded player who would put up some numbers if he got more playing time. But when you have the numbers of talented forwards that we do, someone is bound to be left out.

Spirit Lake Tribal Chairwoman Myra Pearson is VERY MUCH AGAINST the Sioux name. Not sure if it would have to go through her to get to the voting stage.
Not only is she very much against the name, but she is very much against anything that is not in the best interests of the people in power or any attempts to clean up the corruption that runs riot in tribal government. It isn't going to be an easy task.

Rooting against Northeastern in the Beanpot is just plain mean. Of course it's real easy for me to say this with the Gophers having beaten them.
I know. I would really like to see them win one for a change. Also nice work with the color.

Yeah but unless we totally destruct, I don't see it happening. But I guess if they swept us we could be in some hot water. But lets hope that isn't the case.

Not one of the important games but Tech leads CC 1-0 after 1. I read that both teams took a CFB in the 1st. Seems to me that there sure has been a lot of them recently.

I agree 100%. If you knew the guy you would understand that his emotional scars from this will last far longer than any of those involved will ever imagine. His 20 years before that night and 60 or more years after that night will define who he really is. Trust me, although not perfect, he is a good guy.
As a side note... I hope University President Robert Kelley follows through on his "ZERO TOLERANCE" policy. The UND has a record of about 300 alcohol/drug related incidents a year ON campus. Can anyone honestly tell me none of those incidents ever involve a fight/violence? I sure hope the University's judicial system treat those "perpetrators" in the same manner as they have Brad Kelley!
I think the part where he punched 2 UND res hall members is prob why this became so big. A fight between 2 people is nothing to ge excited for on its own. Start messing around with RA's and the such and there is bound to be trouble.

I second everything you just said. The pairwise will work its way out and I don't think 3 trophies is much to ask for.

Actually they do have a pro league for both field lacrosse and box(arena) lacrosse and although MLL(field) is having some financial issues currently, it is where most of the good college players will end up. Box lacrosse can be fun to watch but I find it to be more of a spectacle which diminishes the appeal. You can't beat field lacrosse for technical skills although I can see how people can get frustrated when UVA scores 3 goals in 62 sec and then can't score for 7 OT's.
