I’m more concerned about defense than any other area next year.
Why? Moore, Frisch, Kleven, Sanderson. 4 returning.
Bringing in Morrow (who should be good). Then they’ll find some older D to come in I would imagine.

Completely agree. Can we really roll into next year with Scheel/Feeney/Johnson? We would be a heartbeat away from what Western Michigan is going through.
Gotta pick up a goalie recruit somewhere. Late bloomer 21 year old freshman a likely scenario.
Not worried about a goalie. They'll find one. Up front, UND will have to replace a ton. With the decommits of Halliday and Rizzo (who knows if he'll be ever be good) they need some good forwards for next year too. Gaber, Budy can't do it on their own.

Miami played, skated and moved the puck well for them.

Definitely worth adding a stud desperate to play this year after transfer students were granted immediate eligibility. Gotta be an Ivy senior that graduates at semester or something.
What’s the cut off date? Can they bring in a body still for next semester?

Berry had every opportunity after Rizzo canceled coming in and MM being released to find/bring in a grinder player. Plenty of them out there. I really wish he did. Team still needs some grit/sandpaper.

College reffing is so bad compared to the NHL.
JW had to hands on his stick and got the puck in the net. No forced goalie interference other than a body positioning play. Joke!

Nice call refs...

Terrible plays along the board and it getting it out of the zone, led to that last St. Cloud goal. Unreal, how bad UND was there trying to get the puck out. If nothing else, eat the puck on the wall and win a battle to get it out. Good gawd!

Tychonick is not doing well for Omaha. Even Starman just admitted it.
He was an over-hyped player imo. He’s not bad, but can’t believe he was a 2nd round draft pick.

Was supposed to be today but he needed a couple more days to come up the "science and data" he needs to make his decision.
What a clown!

Heard from those in the know in Moorhead athletics that Walz will extend his pause for in youth/HS athletics another 4 weeks from this Friday so hopefully that game isn't affected.
If Walz does that, you might as well cancel the season for winter sports in MN. A joke.

Omaha had a nice team. UND will have their hands full in those games.
-
That was a must win. Team still has a lot to work on. Nice to see some others score. Adam’s needs a goal soon.

Goal post will continue to get moved

Need a W.

UND should have brought in a body with Rizzo decomitted.
-
Remember when Judd played and did something? Concerning.
-
28 is trying. Uses his body and size etc. Just needs to be much better. I wanted him to take a leap this year. He needs some sandpaper in him.
-
UND needs some sandpaper. Kleven can’t come back soon enough.

How does Duluth never lose close games? Unbelievable.

MN is what 8-0. Just swept Michigan, thoughts?

Let's talk a little more about Moore. A guy who is in the same class as Sanderson and Kleven, so he's definitely been overshadowed. 5th Round pick, coming off a strong year in Juniors (+1, so not a True Freshman, but a year delayed). He was a great recruit.
Get's an opportunity against Western, but you can't really take much away from that game, because it ends up in a lot of ways becoming a glorified scrimmage. Yesterday, he's on the 3rd D-pairing with Rieger who being what I'm guessing is a non-scholarship guy (has been strictly depth his entire career - solid for that type of player). I was really impressed with him. He played big minutes against what we all believe to be a Top-5 team, with his D-partner being Rieger. Very excited to watch him develop.
What were others thoughts on Moore?
Moore looked great and confident. Looks good out there. Give him more minutes. Only way he can learn.
He had one hell of a hit in front of the UND bench.
Give him more time to be successful in the “right” times of the game.

MN 7-0. Big Ten still no plans yet for second part of season.
MN is improved from last year but the Big Ten is not the juggernaut that the NCHC is.
I don’t think MN beats, UND, UMD, or Denver. They “could” but I doubt it.
We shall see hopefully down the road.
Pod style game 9-A nooner with Duluth.

Scheel will be in net tomorrow, but I am fine giving Thome another chance.
