I think they can still blow the whistle but a crease violation that doesn't interfere with the goalie doesn't negate a goal. So they should blow the whistle but if they don't it doesn't necessarily negate the goal. In this case today I think it would have because the gopher hooked Lammy's foot.

That's what I was thinking. It'd be hard to call a penalty because the defense was right on the gopher player.

I went back and looked at the penalty. It was one of those grab the stick and hold it up by your head to draw the penalty.

Well if their taped Hobey wrap up was worth a crap. Two of Norton's picks sucked this weekend (Currey (spelling?) and Goepfart) while Hensick showed himself a moron even though he had a very good game.

On the replay it looked like Peltier just pushed Oshie with the Stick, not a hook. I can live with the call, but they better call them all that way. Duncan needs to wait a few years for the stache.
