Well it's 3-0 Grand Rapids middle of 2. This just feels like a coronation of the champion and the actual championship game was last night. Moorhead has had some chances but just don't feel they are putting the pressure on enough to hurt this Thunder hawk team.

We need to all write letters asking Midco to broadcast the ND State HS Championship next year. I had to follow the stream online this year, would be great if they picked it up.

And as somebody who has had teams compete against hockey programs in Fargo, Grand Forks, other ND towns, the Northern towns, the Metro programs, and the southern towns, I will guarantee that GF stacks up well and would be one of the top programs in MN. You need to give your boys some credit, they can play. I'm an impartial observer here.

Bantam AA Aviators were a top team too. If GF had a combined team, which isn't unfair given the GF population compared to the size of so e metro schools, they would compete at the top of class AA.

Just showed those EP players still on the bench after the game in tears. Have to admit, it got a little dusty here seeing that. It's rough but they played well, sometimes you just don't get the W.

Had to make that call, didn't like it but it was knee to knee.

Rumor is Hermantown is opting up to AA next year.

So how are we supposed to feel about this? Hermantown - people have been screaming for them to move up to AA for years. What is it now, 8th straight A championship game? Cathedral - Private school playing A. Do I need to say more? MAML - a former AA school that has AA enrollment, petitions to move down and 1st year goes to the A title game? Personally, I was going for the rest of the field, Luverne, EGF, Northfield, and Mahtomedi in that order.
