People are misleading what this song is for I think. Its not like during the whole song we should all be standing up, pounding on the glass and wiggin out!! 'Phil' isn't suppose to be really pumping you up, in my opinion, however though that last one or two frames where it says " Are you ready" or something like that(right before it changes to AFI) is where it actually is suppose to get the crowd into it. All year long people have stood up as the song switches to AFI and the crowd starts to get loud as well, at least in my section. Its a matter of opinion I guess but I bet more people like it than not... I have a hunch it could change after xmas break though. I think they should go back to eminem for the preteam announcing video ! One shot, one moment, one opportunity to seize anything that I ever wanted...ect.. EDIT: The darker and louder the building is, the better!

Problem solved, DONT come late! Why punish the people who are there and ready for the game. They can just wait till they turn the lights on then.... GO SIOUX!

I think even an advertisment on the radio for the next month would help also

I think it would be better to have marto as a forward personally. They would need another D to do that though, but maybe the fact that Kozek seems to be the clear favorite as a hitter this year, maybe he should take the role! Plus he could snipe a ton of shots from the blue line! Hitting, like it or not, is such a huge part of the game, especially on the defensive side of things. EDIT: Clean hitting....

The only problem with marto is the physical side. Me personally, I feel defensemen need to be able to bump people off the puck more times than not. Failing to do so can/could cause many opportunities in front of our net, as an example.

I like it so far. Maybe for the whole season could get old but I think your missing the point of it. Plus the end of the 'slide show' picks up and ends pretty well as far as getting the fans to their feet. Never before, other than the team coming out, have had fans to their feet before the game starts or the beginning of each period that is. This gets the fans to their feet with about ten seconds before the team even comes out! wow! I think everything else the arena does is by far worse than this is. Such as the music they play in general. I think they need to have a CD premade and not use satellite radio or whatever they use for the small breaks in play. It truely is sad.... Also, welcome to the jungle has no purpose anymore I guess. When they play it, some people know what it means, but others need to see the 'lets make some noise' flashing throughout the arena to get the hint. Now when they play it, they don't flash anything and a few people clap, about it. Meanwhile they have those that ever so important advertising info flashing instead! Before its too late, put seats back in the old arena and open the doors. Its time for some actual fighting sioux hockey! People who are scared to be loud or to stand up, on occasion, need not arrive!

Not to cut down on anyone and sorry if this was mentioned, but what happened to the drummer for the UND band? There was a female for these particular games and they hardly ever started the 'lets go sioux' chant using the drum. Many people seem to get more involved with loud noises More and more I want the old arena back. Between the sadness of the music they play during breaks in play and the apparent rules they have for students and the band (is there?), I doubt this arena will ever get loud except for them alaska, almost come from behind, type of games. The band could really get the crowd going more if they wanted to, or help out at least. Pin drops can be heard 90% of the time in that arena.

The society surrounding this arena is too egotistic and lazy to perform unity like this. Im betting they could hand out shirts and 40% of the people wouldn't put them on. And I totally agree that green and/or white (and black, hence black jerseys and sioux gear) should be seen every night in the arena but thats just us few knowledgeable people that understand this
